I visit Thunder Bay every year. First time at Seler. I wanted to eat at a fine establishment. Special dinner with a family member. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant. It has a very welcoming feel.
I ordered the braised ribs. Never ate such a tasty dish. I usually keep away from big meat dishes. But this was so delicious and I meal I will remember.
Our waiter Marcus was well versed in wines and the menu. Offering us good input. The wine he recommended was exceptional. As was the entree. The timing of the service was well paced.
It was great dining experience.

The food was exquisite! We started by sharing the beet salad. What a sensational gastro-delight it was , featuring red and golden beets, walnut and goat cheese. We both ordered the short rib and it was divine, so tender and flavourful served on fluffy mashed potatoes with asparagus, parsnips and carrots. Lastly we finished with toasted coconut creme brulee witch so rich and creamy we literally scraped the ramekin clean! Our server was Markus and he was professional, friendly, knowledgable and efficient. We just left Seler and we can't wait to go back!

My husband Marco and I attended a lovely new year event called a night in Paris, it was magical, the staff was so polite and thoughtful and we were always taken care of. The food is the best we both have tasted in the city. I am picky about my food as I myself have cooked for years, but I was astounded by the flavors it is worth every single cent and more. I got to meet the chef as well, a very nice gentleman from the same region of Canada as myself, we will definitively be returning. Yes, yes, yes!
Thank you, Marcus, for helping me organize a last-minute staff Christmas party for a large group. When I first started calling around during the busy holiday season, I wasn’t very hopeful—but Marcus made it happen. He was able to accommodate our group, seat us in a private room, and even adjust when additional guests joined. The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and perfectly balanced. Marcus offered helpful suggestions while still allowing everyone to feel comfortable making their own choices. No one went thirsty, orders were taken quickly, and the food was served promptly. Most importantly, the food was delicious and everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the whole team who assisted throughout the night.

We had the mushroom risotto, one with shrimp, the other with chicken and deemed the dish excellent. Also had , for dessert, the chocolate soufflé dish which we shared. Another excellent choice. A shout out to our waitress, Julie, who was very efficient, attentive and personable. Appreciate the consistency of good food, well prepared and presented.

Excellent overall! Very accommodating, courteous, friendly and professional staff. Our waitress excelled in ensuring our experience was memorable and superb. Her suggestions for apéritif and desert turned out to be extraordinarily delicious and satisfying. As before, the wine was excellent, as was the filet (melt in your mouth) and the desert. Highly recommend Selers for a relaxing, memorable experience. Thank you so much

We ate here for the first time last night and the food was delicious. Good portions and very fresh. The staff were very accommodating of my food allergies, the executive chef even came out to offer me good alternatives. Food came out rather quickly. Cute little place with a different type of menu. My only complaint was that at the end of the night our server took an extended amount of time to bring us the POS machine so we could leave. Luckily one of the other servers saw us itching to leave and cashed us out. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding for dessert!
