This was one of the best dinning experiences I've ever had. Marcus was our server and he was probably the best server I've ever had. The food was extraordinary. They are clearly a place that takes pride in providing customers a valuable experience. They were proactive with a reservation challenge we had and made us excited to eat there. They turned around a trip that had other challenges. If you're anywhere near, make sure you stop and eat here. We will.

We had an excellent time at Seler. The food was beyond amazing and the drinks menu had good options to pair. Our server, Bianca was very friendly and helpful and had an excellent sense of humour. Would definitely recommend the potatoes pavé appetizer!!

My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner and had amazing service. Our questions about the menu were answered exceptionally well and our waiter took care of us perfectly. Both of our mains were to die for! Highly recommend.

I tried a new dish which was good but I didn't add a protein which I should have. I will know for next time.

Dinner at 7pm. First time there. Restaurant full. Menu was NOT the same as what was on website. Only stating this as I brought a bottle of wine to pair with one of their items which had been taken off. Ordered tempura shrimp appetizer x 2, pork belly appetizer, scallops appetizer, ahi tuna appetizer, lobster risotto, pan seared parmesan crusted chicken breast and braised shortribs. Originally wanted duck breast but that was the entree that had been removed from the new menu, so I ordered the tempura shrimp, caesar salad and pork belly appetizer. Tempura batter was crisp but heavy. Friend was told that they ran out of risotto that was to accompany the chicken breast. She ordered a different starch only to be told later that they 'found' more risotto. The risotto that came out seem to be half cooked and half undercooked. Server then brought me the pork tenderloin instead of the pork belly. I told server I would keep the pork tenderloin as it was now getting late. It was done well. Server then brought the pork belly to make up for his mistake. Generally, what food we ordered was done well, except for that side risotto and the tempura shrimp. Server was friendly and attentive. Would I go back? Don't know....

We really enjoy the food at Seler, it is quite good but have both remarked at its current location and previously on Cumberland when it opened that it was expensive compared to similar quality restaurants.

We were placed in the private room at first and asked to be moved because it was very noisy. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate our need for a quiet table. The ahi tuna appetizer tasted a little off, the aubergine appetizer was tasty and the seafood linguine was absolutely delicious. If I went back, I'd ask for a little more time to drink cocktails before the appetizers came out. (The Sangria was great!) Was it fabulous? Not really, but I'm a picky foodie from Toronto. 😉

Food was not great. Overcooked lobster, burrata that was unlike any I've ever had (not in a good way). Service was slow. Just not a great experience, particularly for the price.

We had a great business meeting. Private and elegant for lunch. The shrimp tacos were AMAZING! Will be back.

Amazing dinner the other nite! Our server — well, she nailed it from start to finish. An absolute gem: super friendly and had us laughing, even while it was a little overheated. We gave 4 stars only because we expected to enjoy some nice A/C with our meal, but instead we were all a bit sweaty (along with the staff!). Cool it off a bit — especially for your hardworking team — 27 degrees is pretty warm!”

What an incredible experience! My husband and I had our one year anniversary dinner last night at Seler and it was FANTASTIC! We had never been, and we were clearly missing out on this Fine Dining Restaurant
My husband had the Ribeye and I had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken both were 5/5 perfection. Between the flavour, portion size and how spot on they were cooked we couldn’t have asked for anything more!!
Our complementary dessert was such a special touch and a wonderful end to an unforgettable dining experience ❤️

As usual the food was excellent and the service outstanding. This is my favorite restaurant in Thunder Bay.
