I have been to Selar many times & was bringing family & friends out to celebrate my brother's birthday. The other 4 with me have never been to Selar . I'm happy to say they enjoyed there meals 4 of us ordered from the set menu the Caesar salad had no flavour at all & my jumbo shrimp dinner was far from jumbo shrimp was lukewarm warm & needs to be changed up & not served on quinoa there was to much of it & very bland . All the other entrees were good from what everyone said . Desserts were delicious I was discounted my dinner very nice & our server was very good . I was told by a few people it has been hit or miss with the food lately but I will return just will order something different.

Drinks and appetizers were great, A+... Dinner entree was a bit bland. The risotto had no flavor, like it was cooked in water and not broth. A second guest in my group ordered the same dish and was equally disappointed. I was disappointed being one if the more upscale restaurants in Thunder Bay.

After multiple times eating at Seler and ordering my favourite meal, they refused to make the gluten free adaptation that they normally do. Unfortunate! Made me feel like an inconvenience because of an allergy I have no control over. They used to be much more friendly and accommodating and I used to recommend them to my celiac friends all the time. I won't be doing that anymore.

Enjoyed the food, was very good. The service was excellent but took along time to get started before we could start with a drink at least. Enjoyed our time there but was a little more expensive then our other top locations. Do recommend for a good experience.

We went to Seler yesterday to celebrate our friends' birthday dinner & what a delicious and amazing experience for us all. The meals were delicious and the service was great! The wait time for the meals were great and our waitress was lovely. She was able to answer any questions we had about the meal which was great. We will be back! ❤️

I highly disapprove of the way the employees are treated in this establishment. How can you be so ignorant and get a worker with a bad hand injury to be carrying tons of plates, and making drinks, and doing inventory? Insane.

First time eating at Seler Restaurant can't say enough Fantastic things about this establishment:) Food was absolutely Amasing as well as the Service. Was there for MacKinley the Delusionist. Wow he is Awesome!!! Booked him for a Staff Xmas Party in January 2025. I will definitely go back. Thank You to all the Staff & MacKinley. You made my busy day so relaxing & refreshing:)

Great service, amazing food, easy parking, decent lighting, and a noise level quieter than other establishments so you can actually have a conversation with your dining companion! Private dining area off to the side also for accommodating small gatherings is perfect. Highly reccomend.

Food and service were great; however I was surprised at the small amount of lobster I received on top of my risotto. For a $57 price point, I expected a lot more lobster. For a $57 entree at The Keg, I would have received a large lobster tail. Other than that, we were very happy with our evening at Seler, and will come back again on another special occasion.

We had the Digby Scallops, Creamed Corn Succotash, Peppered Pork Belly, Roasted Garlic as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. Our server Rachel was amazing and our entrees were delicious
