Caribou Restaurant + Wine Bar

As always the Caribou did not disappoint. We were seated promptly in a booth as requested and the server brought us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. The service was excellent, our dinner was excellent and we recommend the Caribou to everyone!

This has been our go-to restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries over the past 25 years. Last night's dinner was as memorable as our first visit. The food was wonderful, and the service was outstanding! Caribou never disappoints, and we will continue to celebrate our special occasions there.

The overall experience was, unfortunatly, very so so. greeting by the hostess was crisp and friendly (cudos). we were afforded a booth as requested. The server was friendly and attentive. (cudos). Timing and presentation of food was good but not great. Food was very good. We were also afforded a complementary dessert as it was our Anniversary-nice! BUT.....the noise level in the room was brutal. we could not carry a conversation. we hollered at each other (as did all groups hence the noise level just went up and up) and largely gave up conversing. 'Breaking bread' with friends is about food, conversation, stories and laughter. This was impossible. Sound supression in the room is , obviously, non existant. As a group we agreed that we would likely not return due to that immense short fall. I acknowledge that the noise issue is likely a design issue but it is a serious one. I wish you luck in addressing this but I doubt it's easily solved.

Absolutely LOVE the food and service at the Caribou. Sadly the noise level wasn't close to loud. It was closer to a concert roar.... Might be an idea to do a decibel check when there's a busy Saturday night service. We left as quickly as we could, passed on dessert and a lovely Lagavulin dram which we usually partake in. We left with the thought that we probably won't return because of how loud people were. Baffles in the ceiling? More separation between large parties and groups of two attempting to have an intimate dinner on an anniversary? At one point I exclaimed loudly to the woman beside me “Jesus Christ, ssshhhhh”. She didn't hear me!!! Bummer, was such a nice place to go for a great quiet, intimate, dinner where we could speak to each other without yelling.

Our waiter was very attentive and very polite. Always smiling. The noise level made it very hard to talk amongst ourselves. The food was very good.

This place is nothing but amazing... from food to service ! Just great

A business dinner: we had time to discuss our matters and enjoy the ambiance of this lovely place.

Ordered their special of the night..both were delicious. Bianca was a fun and attentive server..was a great Birthday celebration.

Creative menu, excellent food, quick and friendly. Was travelling on my own and really enjoyed their service.

We had a wonderful experience at Caribou. We go every year for our anniversary and every year we are always impressed. Crystal was personable and friendly. She gave recommendations and they did not disappoint. We will be back again next year!

Good overall experience at Caribou, however the food was a bit underwhelming.

My coworkers and I were travelling from out of town when we decided to dine at Caribou for dinner. Our server was excellent and the atmosphere was great but unfortunately the linguine was overcooked and mushy. I do highly recommend the crab dip and misto fritti as starters. Overall good restaurant that we would try again.

I would recommend for sure. We were three persons and ordered appetizers and main dishes, and they were over our expectations. The flavours and a good balance of all ingredients and very tasty. Good time with family or friends
