I ordered regular custom cupcakes with photos on them and they turned out beautifully and delicious! I’ve also had gluten free cupcakes from here for different birthdays and loved and devoured them each and every time. So delicious, especially for gluten free and with dairy free icing, you can’t even tell the difference between gluten free and normal cupcakes!

Can I ask a question; IS there two different kinds of buttercream icing? Because the buttercream icing I'm ordering a head of time, sometimes I get the icing I want and sometimes I'm getting this icing that's super sweet with a chemical taste which ain't at all rich, sweet, buttery and creamy. The last couple cakes I'm not happy with the icing. Never had this problem with original owners and I been a customer since Carol was on James Street. The cakes turn out pretty, the cake itself good but if I'm paying extra and in advance ordering I'm always expecting to get what I want. Now it's a juggle between getting the icing I want or this

I ordered a cake for my mother's 80th birthday. It appeared nice in the box, however when we removed it from the box it was lopsided. The person that decorated the cake knew that it was obviously not level and proceeded to decorate it. Also we paid extra for real buttercream icing, that was a disappointment. I did write an email to express our concerns but received no reply.Two stars because the guests liked the taste if the cake.

We purchased a carrot cake (with the icing upgrade) for a retirement party with 40 people. The cake was absolutely fantastic - rich, dense - definitely decadent! Decorated beautifully too. I usually buy cakes elsewhere, but I'm sure I'll be back.

The lady at the front is super rude. I went today and she didn’t even bother to say hi but kwpt on acting rude. So, I left without buying anything.
Was looking forward to ordering a cake but was treated really rudely and there was a total unwillingness to do a custom slab cake that was two flavours. I was told there are 2 different icings and toppings so "that's just not something we're going to do". Pretty sure icing can be blended and covered with flowers, and one side can have a topping sprinkled on it that the other side can omit.
