Be careful people, I seen a woman’s post, that she got attacked outside this casino, by two people on bikes hanging around outside the entrance. Be aware of your surroundings!!!

Not bad for a small casino…..

Kind staff and premises is clean. Restaurant is decent and one of the fewer places left in town for late nite dining. There are often people begging and soliciting at the north side entrance unfortunately.

This casino is in desperate need of an update and new machines.

THE STAFF AT GATEWAY CASINO ARE GREAT!they are very friendly and make you feel welcome.There could be more staff but I guess because of cutbacks it is what it is.I personally find that I can't seem to win any big jackpots since Gateway has taken it over and I know im not the only one.Yes im a regular,I'm not rich or stupid ,I set my limit and stick to it.I got to meet a lot of new people there and I do have fun.It would be more fun if they advertised the winners of jackpots so you feel like you stand a chance to win one.Their promotions for regular players are pretty pathetic.If they gave away 1000 dollars instead of 25 dollars I'd go more.Its not worth my time to travel all across town for such a small give away.its not all bad ,the food is really good and fairly priced im still on the fence about the winners club cards?I feel like if I use it sure is get pts but it seems like the card makes me feel like (We paid him 2 weeks ago so he's gotta wait) I'm sure it's not like that I just feel that way.If your going to gamble don't say good luck say break a leg. Who knew a casino restaurant could serve up such great food? I went to the Gateway Casino restaurant and was so impressed, I went back the next day!

Day one started with tomato bisque — never had it before, but it was like a tasty mashup of seafood bisque and tomato garlic soup. Rich, flavorful, and packed with little tomato surprises. The Caesar salad? Good portion but salty both days. Told the chef, but the bacon didn't get the memo.

The second day, I tried the vegetable medley soup. It was nice, good, and balanced, but not as good as the tomato bisque.

The star of the show: the 8-ounce steak. Perfect char marks, juicy, and paired with creamy mashed potatoes and sweet corn. I asked for blue cheese crumble but got the creamy kind instead — guess I'll live.

The servers were swamped but doing their best. Bonus points for the beeper system that lets you play a bit until your table's ready. Oh, and I was lucky that night — maybe it was the steak? Definitely going back!
