This Italian spot in Thunder Bay will just blow you away. It’s such a must try spot. All of the pasta is made fresh. Service is impeccable, the waiter makes you feel like a friend. My wife got the spinach gnocchi and I got a pasta. We both ate each others and loved it. You can tell the pasta is freshly made! We ended up taking out a dessert which was also impeccable. Super flavorful and not overly sweet.

Great experience. From the minute you walk in you’re treated like family. Very accommodating to any dietary requests. The young chef is so good and friendly. The servers are so knowledgeable. Will be back

The staff went the extra mile to make our special dinner one to remember. The food was exquisite!.

Such a great experience. From the hostess to the serve staff, to the tastes and atmosphere. This place somehow is small and intimate, yet you have your own space and it doesn’t feel cramped. Trevor and Marie are superstars and Marie made sure we had such a great experience. We Got to meet the Chef afterwards, his name is B! He’s a rising star, his plates are delicious and unique and have a new twist on classics. Can’t wait to get back there.

Rude service . We did not get to eat. We showed up at 20:40 - we were told the kitchen was closed and all their reservations had already showed up so there was no service for us. I’m fine with closing the kitchen early and being refused service - it happens. BUT do not dare to imply that I am somehow at fault because I showed up during your stated business hours and expected you to be still serving. The attitude was so out there that I actually had to pause to stop myself from snapping. The entire exchange was insulting and inappropriate- I don’t care how good the food might be, don’t go there. (And no, there was no confrontation, we accepted what the hostess said and left immediately.)

We had dinner at this restaurant on Friday, April 11, 2025. The food and service was amazing. Everyone at our table enjoyed their appetizers, meals and desserts. I don't write a lot of reviews but I would highly recommend this place. I would also ensure that I visit this restaurant the next time I'm in Thunder Bay. I would like to thank our server Trevor and all who work at this restaurant for an amazing experience.

First time going to Giorg and I will be back! Service was best I’ve ever had! Drinks and Food were sooooo good! Get the burrata, you won’t regret it !

Giorg is our "to go" place for special occasions. Wonderful ambience that reminds me of Italy. The service is always top notch. Just a wonderful experience.

The service was next level, the food and drink was exceptional. I would highly recommend Giorg for anyone looking to have an incredible dining experience. Perfect for date night, birthday, anniversary or simply getting together with friends and family. You won't be disappointed!

Our appetizers, drinks and entres were all very good for all five of us. But...... restaurant was very cold for entire evening. All five people at our table were cold! 🥶 Also, the lemon olive oil cake was very dry.😔 Service was wonderful.

Came back to Giorg for our anniversary. As last time, the staff and food were wonderful. Got the large portion of the bolognese so there would be leftovers (: Thanks to the staff for a lovely evening!

Our waiter was excellent! He was attentive, very polite and accommodating. We weren't rushed.
