We enjoyed a scrumptious two course dinner as we watched the sun set over the harbour through ceiling-to-floor windows. Julia, our server, was delightful, the meals were delicious and the ambience was great. Ample parking just outside was convenient @ $1.50 per half hour, which was fine. We will not hesitate to recommend Anchor & Ore to our friends in T'Bay and look forward to dining here next time we are in Canada.
One of my favorite restaurants in North America. The food did take awhile 35-ish minutes, to arrive at the table, for our group of 6, which was much longer than previous visits, however, it was a Friday night before a long weekend and quite busy as a result, so somewhat understandable. As a result I did take one star away from "service", however, I do want to stress that our server herself was very kind, helpful, and accommodating, and definitely deserving of 5 stars.
Beautiful restaurant, great view, amazing food, but terrible service. Getting there was a little tricky with parking not easily available and finding the entrance in the hotel. Had the charcuterie board to start, and the salmon dish for the main. Charcuterie was good, the honey was the standout, so delicious.
