The Hodder is a Current River tradition. Great service good food always a friend to talk to when you come in. This is an old school tavern for old school days. You can let your hair down enjoy yourself and not worry about any sketchy customers. This bar has been the same in the 70s in the 80s in the 90s and now in the 2000s come on down enjoy a slice of thunder Bay’s history. Don’t forget to tip your bartender

I recently went to Hodder Tavern for a work party, and while the exterior is a bit unassuming and sketchy-looking, the inside completely surprised me in the best way. It has a cozy, countryside pub vibe, with a pool table, games, and even karaoke – definitely a fun spot for groups. One of the coolest features is the music machine, where you can pay to change the bar’s music, which adds a unique and interactive touch to the atmosphere.
Drinks were reasonably priced, and overall, I really enjoyed my time there. It’s the kind of place where you can have fun with friends or colleagues, and enjoy night out. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a casual and fun spot and party.
