International House of Tea

My friend and I stopped in here today to check it out. A beautiful shop with a full range of loose leaf teas to offer, as well as tea brewing accessories and gift ideas. The employee working there was very knowledgeable and helpful at selecting teas based on our preferences. Will return next time I visit TBay!

A must go to place. Kind staff, endless scents and options of tea. You can leave with a hot tea or even a cold tea. If you are a tea fan, check the House of tea. It be tea-sing me always haha

Their featured tea was tea-licious and on a brew-tea-ful day! I'll have to Chai their tea-riffic tea again!

After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to visit I called ahead to make confirm they were open (April 8/2023). After arriving just after 2pm I looked around a bit, grabbed a bag of tea and and proceeded to wait. The person behind the counter (overheard the name *i'll leave out*) did not acklowledge me or make eye contact for the whole 15 minutes I stood in the practically empty store. There was one person having tea, and another older woman making a purchase. There was a break in their conversation when the woman's cell phone rang but (*name) still did not acknowledge my presence nor did he mention that they'd be just a moment.This person was offered a decent discount and samples to take home and I was left there holding my bag and then walking out. Maybe they were a long time regular and I can't take that away from a loyal customer, but being my first time there I was not impressed; especially after hearing about providing good customer services and tips.I gave 2 stars because of the assortment of teas that I wish I could have tried but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Nice tea shop that is a local establishment, and the teas are a good blend. The pricing is a little on the higher end but so is the quality.

As the name says they have a wide variety of teas.... I'm amazed by seeing their collection. Good customer service & if you want to explore different teas, just head to Algoma. Here it is....♥️

If you're a tea lover, this tea shop is amazing. The moment you walk in the door, the aroma of teas fill the senses. I bought a bag of Thunder Bay tea, and a box of the decaf samplers. Great tea!

Amazing customer service, had a very nice chat with the cashier, I personally don’t like tea very much so she showed me through the menu and showed me their fruit juice types that help hydrate and taste amazing! 110% reccomend this place for any of your tea needs, amazingly large menu and cheap prices! Even giving me a sample of their new christmas tea with my purchase :) very happy with their service.

Wonderful customer service and quality tea! I sent a message with a question over the weekend and got an immediate response. Terri Lynn and Mary worked with me over the next few days to coordinate a gift. I was so impressed with their prompt service! Highly recommend!
