Island Spice Jerk House

Always great to go into Island Spice whenever I am looking for a warm, home cooked meal. I always go for the Curry Chicken and Rice meal. Sometimes will pair it with a mild beef patty. The portions are good for this meal and it gives you that home cooked, comfort food feel.

I always used to order oxtail and it was really good but now they just give u bones without any meat and it is really pricey. I like the taste but I don’t think this is fair.and i paid for extra meat. Its not worth it for the price

Traveling across Canada found this Gem! I ordered a large portion of very tasty Jerk Chicken. Every time I have jerk chicken it taste very different at each restaurant. The flavors here are the ones I am always hoping for!

Passing through town and found this Jamaican resto...I was impressed. Its a small 5 table resto. The staff were smiling and helpful, our meal was served quickly. The medium size curried goat ($21) was amazing and the jerk chicken had lots of flavour. It was worth the walk from our hotel. I strongly recommend if you are good with spicy. Actually the stew chicken isn't hot spicy.

What a GEM. This is some top tier food and eats. Had to get extra gravy on the side and their home made hot sauce. Amazing food. Too bad it's so far from my home town. Going to be a must stop for me moving forward whenever I am in town. I had the goat roti and a beef patty. Would eat a hundred times again.
