Ordered the oxtail with rice and beans and the chicken curry roti finished the oxtail and made it halfway through the roti hahahaha, delicious amazing food. Will order again for sure.

My apologies for this late review! On September 23rd, a friend and I had been traveling across Canada and stopped at the Island Spice Jerk House. What wonderful food! And the host was so kind, helpful and chatted with us about the place's history. If you are looking for an authentic Jamaican food experience, Island Spice Jerk House is the place for you!

Island space jerk house is a eat in or carry out Jamaican restaurant. All of the food is homemade by the owner.
The restaurant has a feeling of “home“. The the owner is a lovely woman who won to tell as passionate about what she does.
I would recommend any of my friends to go there.
It’s not fancy… Not at all! It is an atmosphere of an old home kitchen.
If we are ever in thunder Bay again, I will go again.
