“Attended a private event here most recently. I must confess I was never there before. However after such a great experience in both the food quality, atmosphere and service, I think I found our new go to place in TBay for dining out. Hats off to Giorg Cucina e Barra.“

“I had the Pizza special tonight and it was out of this world. First, the crust. It was amazing and played its roll of the mechanism to deliver the toppings. It was thin and cooked to perfection. Next was a collection of quality toppings with the standout being the confit garlic that elevated this to a whole other level. Everyone in the group that I was with agreed that we could go back again the following night without hesitation. I can't wait to go back to the nook.“

“I've eaten lunch here twice and rate this restaurant a ten out of ten. Service was impeccable and the food is authentically Italian. I had the pasta and rapini with Italian sausage on my second visit. The sauce was flavouful and nuanced. it was served piping hot. Bread is free and abundant. An exquisite experience that transported me to my youth in the seventies when I backpacked through Europe. The server understood my desire to have a slow, leisurely meal--the Italian way--I look forward to returning soon.“

“Went there for dinner last night and I must say the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The owner was there and she was amazing! Our waitress was totally on point and I was blown away by the food! It was a 3 course tasting menu and every dish was extremely flavourful! Loved it! Can't wait to try the breakfast!“

“A local favourite lunch spot. NYS has excellent food and great service. I usually just stick with the subs and pizza, both of which are excellent.

Hours are limited, but they're fast and friendly. Highly recommended.

Parking: Meter street parking, but I've never had an issue with finding a spot.“

“Classic place, delicious and been around forever! The only reason I gave a 1 star for atmosphere is the building is old and no dine in available (don’t let that fool you) it’s been a family go to before I was even born. The Jumbo Thundercape special has a special place for me and a lot of locals“
