Never a disappointment going to Lot 66. Hands-down my favourite restaurant in Thunder Bay. Food is always full of flavour and each bite is like your first bite.
My first time at lot 66 with girlfriends xmas celebration. 100 % Satified. Jean Robilard says Hi.,(Said we w ould not be disappointed ould enjoy)
Dinner to celebrate a birthday. We dine out a lot. We have had servers that run the gamut from outright surly to obsequious, from indifferent to cloyingly fake in their friendliness. Britto was our server. We weren’t sure for the first few seconds of interaction; but, she disarmed us completely and provided the friendliest yet most competent service we’ve possibly ever had. She recommended the seasonal drink which I then got (blueberry vodka, blue Curaçao, white cranberry with blueberries dusted in sugar) and it was quite good and everyone else enjoyed their beverages promptly as well. The food was amazing. I had the seared scallops, and the black angus 7oz filet with potatoes and side veg (grilled red pepper and Brussels sprouts), other appetizers were the PEI mussels, the escargot, the beet salad and French onion soup. Britto recommended that I save some focaccia from the oil and balsamic vinegar intro, so I used some to sop up the leftover sauce from the scallops…. yum. My steak with mushroom reduction was cooked perfectly (med rare) and so tender that I barely needed a knife. Other mains were the tagliatelle bolognese, shrimp and scallop linguini, Marguerita pizza and the 12oz black angus peppercorn New York strip with cheddar risotto. Everyone at the table was extremely pleased with their meals. Comments were “wow” “this tastes amazing!” and “delicious!” Food was hot, we received our entrees at the same time, the quality of the food was 10/10. I scored the ambiance 4/5, only because, not surprisingly for a Saturday night (and we’ve def experienced this on other visits here) the rowdiness and drunken exuberance of other guests enjoying their evenings was so loud that we had to speak very loudly on the verge of yelling to converse with each other. I know they’ve installed sound baffles and other fixes to try to help with the noise. Might I suggest that they extend the walls for the “private” dining room all the way up to the ceiling, maybe just leave a smaller opening on the back side open to the rest of the restaurant, for air flow. I’ve partied in that room before. You feel like you can make as much noise as you want because u have your own private space; but, a large amount of the yelling and squealing etc came from that one room. Having said that, we knew coming on a Saturday night near Christmas was likely going to be very loud, so I accept that. The ambiance from the decor is very cozy/comfy: upholstered benches and chairs- very comfortable, very cozy lighting - intimate while still providing plenty of light to see your food. The food and service more than made up for the minor annoyance of the yelling and partying of other patrons. The birthday “boy” received a complimentary espresso ice cream (with lit candle 😂) for dessert. We were all too full to order our own desserts, so the delightful ice cream came with spoons for all. I had a few tastes and it was very yummy but I was so full!
All in all, ignoring the unavoidable noisy joy from other guests, the evening was 10/10 for food presentation, temperature, quality and taste. 10/10 also for excellent and top notch efficiency from our server, Britto.

We had reservations for 6 people and at the last minute we had 2 extras, Lot 66 accommodated us very easily. Our server Jess was amazing and her knowledge of the menu was impressive, her recommendations were spot-on. Everything arrived perfectly timed, and Jess's friendly personality added so much to our dining experience. It's rare to find service that feels both effortless and exceptional—this was exactly that. We will definitely be back!
Lovely ambience, great wait staff and they were very accommodating with my food intolerances. The food was delicious although I found mine was over-peppered (coarse pepper) and 3 out of the 4 of us felt the food was quite salty but it still was very good.
The food is amazing as always. Perfect for date nights.
Our server Britto was wonderful and took care of us so well. Definitely my fav place in Thunder Bay

Meal was great, Liz our server was incredible. My only con was the lemon cello creme brule was too lemony.
Absolutely some of the best food I have eaten, very comfortable setting and the service we received from that sweetheart Ashley was awesome, we will be going back for sure.

Service was incredible. Ordered an expensive bottle of wine. Recommendation was great. Incredible evening.
The whole meal was amazing but the dessert... Omg. Best tiramisu ever. Hands down - and we got the espresso icecream as well, and the two together were perfection. Our server, Ben, was great! So friendly, recommended the maple bacon chicken fettuccine which was unreal! Grew up in Tbay and moved away years ago and somehow managed to never try Lot 66! Highly recommend, we will be back!
