“I ordered meatball pasta and garlic bread. The food was good, but nothing special or amazing. But I like the interior design and decoration of the dinning space. The staffs were doing their jobs very efficiently, I met a waitress called Helen, she was so friendly and helpful, that night she was not busy so I had a nice chat with her and another customer. It was a great dining experience and I revisited this restaurant on next day noon, although the food can still be improved a little bit more.“

“This was our first time here. Everything looked really good from their pics on facebook and we didn’t know what to choose so we decided to order a few dishes to share. We had the Ri Ri Noodles, Pork Bao, Shrimp Bao, Duck Fried rice and Tamagoyaki. I highly recommended this restaurant.“

“Cannot say enough positive things about our experience. From the moment we walked in, everything was amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming.

Our server, Amalu, was absolutely incredible. She was the sweetest, so friendly, and genuinely made us feel special throughout the entire meal. The food was amazing, and you can really tell that quality, fresh ingredients are used in everything they prepare.

Since it was my birthday, Amalu recommended the Swedish fudge cake for dessert, and she did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We will definitely continue to stay at the Valhalla whenever we visit Thunder Bay, and Skal will always be our first stop.“
