You have to be Mad to spend your money and time at this restaurant. Extremely disappointed in my experience at the Madhouse. Went here only because of the Novemburger because my fiancee wanted to try it. The Novemburger was good but nothing special.
If I could Id give his place zero stars… Literally THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT A RESTAURANT. The waitress never came to the table. She never asked us for a drink refill, or asked us about the food. I saw the table behind us receive such basic services from our waitress. We came 20 minutes before that table and they got their food before us… Also before my fiancee was done with her burger, the waitress took her plate.
And to top it all off when it was to pay, the waitress handed me the machine and just left. I guess she knew she wasn’t getting a tip. I will never come back to this sorry excuse of a restaurant and do not recommend anyone to come eat here?

My husband and I were traveling from the US. It was our favorite bar we have visited in Thunder Bay, by far! The service was fantastic, and I highly recommend the Stumbling Cowboy drink and the buffalo chicken dip!

Need to meet with a few people? Having lunch at The Madhouse is my suggestion to you. They have many light lunch options, and large tables. It is not noisy, but the atmosphere is conducive to a short working meeting.
If a member of that meeting is out of town, The Madhouse is found easily! There is on-site parking and on street parking too. If out of town, there is a bus stop right in front of the building with shade and a bus shelter too.
The servers are well trained! They work with you - just tell them you are having a quick meeting. They will orchestra the serving of food, and it has been my experience, they know when best to bring out the food, etc.
Consider a lunch meeting at the Madhouse. A tasty and productive hour is yours! Where else does that happen at lunch?
