Merla-Mae Ice Cream is a must stop for nostalgic ice cream fanatics. Easing customers since 1951, Merla Mae is a Thunderbay icon.
Cones, sundaes, milkshakes, hot dogs, and hamburgers all fit perfectly in your back pocket. Merla Mae has something for everyone. Perfect for date night, snack time, dessert out, or getting together with friends, Merla Mae is the place to be.

I’ve never had a bad experience at Merla-Mae. The food is always fresh and delicious. The only complaint I have is that the parking lot is CHAOS!

Dietary restrictions: I don’t think there are any gluten free food options.

Hot fudge was amazing on my hot fudge sundae!!! The soft serve ice cream was about the same as you get anywhere but the outdoors atmosphere was welcoming.

Overall, it's a place to visit and if you enjoy hot fudge sundaes then definitely get on this one.
