This was a favourite spot while I was going to school in Thunder Bay. The staff were friendly and the food is delicious.
There's plenty of variety on the lunch or dinner menu and you can customize your noodles as much as you like as long as you can fit it all in the bowl. I like mine with a sweet and spicy flavour personally and with plenty of protein.
My family and I make it a point to visit whenever we return to Thunder Bay and we absolutely will do so on our next trip!

I discovered Mongos grill in Winnipeg and loved it. I was very excited to see one on Thunder Bay. Food quality was great, service was great, and Atmosphere was Great.
The place was busy. Which did cause a bit of a delay in getting food but they kept it light hearted and fun as you watched them make your meal. They couldn't have had more staff on without tripping over themselves. It just speaks to the quality and enthusiasm that they maintained that level of engagement while being so busy.
If I could give people a tip it would be to use lots of sauce, so often people stick to the 7 scoops recommended but really if you pile your bowl high. Add more sauce

I had the most amazing experience at Mongo’s Grill! A huge thank you to Kush, Dhruv, and the two other staff members who made our meal extra special. As vegetarians, we truly appreciated the extra care and attention they took to ensure everything was perfect for us. The wraps were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Their customer service was exceptional, and their kindness truly made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend Mongo’s Grill to anyone looking for great food.
The staff was lovely and welcoming. I absolutely loved the food and they even recommended a refill as it was our first visit! Very reasonable price both for the bowl and the dessert. I highly recommend it! You can design your food just how you wish. There are variety of sauces and seasonings for different appetites. Again, the staff was extremely lovely!

** SORRY FOR BEING RUDE, BUT UNHAPPY WITH UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR***
First time here at friends recommendation. Food was good but we were told to leave and eat outside as my mother just took few bites from my food as she was not hungry and was new to canadian taste.
Not happy at all with what the manager/lead at site told. They provided the container and advised us to eat outside.
It is not a buffet nor we are allowed to refill or something. What is the point to eat inside or outside the resturant. The manager literally came and refused and told to eat out as they will not allow my mother to take few bites.
I paid the amount, it's on me if I need to share with 1 or 100 people. I paid for the food and portion can't go beyond what it can hold.
UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND ATTITUDE OF WORKERS.
Felt this attitude of workers ruined my brother's Wedding Anniversary as well as my mom's last meal of Canada before she leaves.
No apologize or compensation of anything. Without questions I paid full amount of our order and packed my stuff and left the site. Have to eat at home with such kind of attitude at this place.
