A Hidden Gem of Authentic Italian Cuisine! We had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Nook Italian Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and charm. The food was nothing short of exceptional — true, authentic Italian flavors that transported us straight to Italy. We started with the burrata served with cherry tomatoes and pesto — fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced. For our mains, the pasta dishes truly shined. My husband loved his dish featuring artichokes, Italian sausage, and their house-made pesto sauce — a rich and flavorful combination done just right. I had the rigatoni arrabbiata, and it was incredible — the perfect amount of spice with a beautifully fresh tomato sauce. Every bite was a delight, and to top it all off, our server Vince made the experience even better. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, he made us feel right at home. If you're looking for amazing Italian cuisine with top-notch service, look no further. The Nook is a true culinary gem!

Getting a bit better for gluten free choices for celiac customers, but notice they are now mincing the garlic and cutting up the prosciutto….i hope they aren’t changing too much on the quality, we really like this restaurant!

This place has probably the best thin crust style pizza I've ever had. It's not too greasy, and the proportions of sauce, crust, cheese, and toppings were pretty darn perfect. We had the feature pasta as well... it was alright. Maybe the ones they have on the regular menu are better? Worth a try.

Wow, what awesome Italian restaurant. Looks like all the locals know about it, as the place filled up fast after we got there. They have a small menu of classical Italian recipes (puttanesca, pomodoro, etc) with daily specials and a healthy wine list. They had the most airy and delicate gnocchi i have ever had. Amazing. The meatballs were delicious, I just wish I had more bread for the sauce. Fast, pleasant service.

Great food and ambiance. The waitress spilt an entire full red wine on me. I had red wine on my face and new wardrobe. Honest mistake yes. New jeans and top while visiting family on last dinner before going back to Winnipeg was cut short. This unfortunately ended evening for me being soaked in jeans too etc. Really unfortunate that bill wasn't comped fully. Not sure if we will be back due to this.

Called and asked if there was any tables available for 2 this evening and was told to go look on the website to see what's available. I just hung up the phone because a place that can't even provide basic customer service over the phone isn't a business I'm interested in going to. Perhaps there is a reason I called instead of just going on the website. What happened to good old fashioned customer service? Seems like it's becoming more and more of a trend to get people to go on apps or websites to get customer service, and if you don't, you get treated differently.
Fine dining restaurants would never act like this by the way, and FYI, many, many people today still call places for reservations. I wasn't aware that I was an unpaid receptionist when trying to dine out these days.

Not impressed by the food. I was able to only pick from the lunch menu. I had the meatballs and the gnocchi pomodoro.
The gnocchi wasn't good, it was too soft/soggy, flavor was not right. Meatballs were ok, not a big fan of the seasoning and their texture.
Overall, food-wise it wasn't a good experience.
The ambiance was nice. Nice patio and nice indoor seating.
Service was alright. They were friendly and nice but not too attentive - maybe because I was in the patio? Not sure
However, I will come back to try other dishes like their pizza or dinner plates.
