Sat on the patio. Waitress ignored us for a good 15+ minutes. The food is excellent but, while the server was friendly WHEN she came to our table, because of her poor service the experience was less than stellar. Highly recommend better hospitality training. Or at the very least, better staffing/coverage.

Nook is a gem - relaxed vibe, great food and the summer patio is one of my favourites places to be in the city. Patio reservations are recommended at busier times.

For the first time here, I had a fantastic experience. Despite not having a reservation, the service was prompt and efficient. The food was exceptional

One of my favorite restaurants in Thunder Bay. The food is always top notch and the service is really good

Excellent pizza! Great staff and the desert was awesome too. Definitely recommend this place for wood fired pizza.

Food was good, our waiter excellent, but the music was so loud that even sitting by the entrance we were not able to hear the waiter, or each other talking and had to shout. Not a relaxing place to eat lunch.

Wife's pasta was way too hot and mine and my sons meals were Luke warm at best. Food was good but the timing lacked.

I had the Pizza special tonight and it was out of this world. First, the crust. It was amazing and played its roll of the mechanism to deliver the toppings. It was thin and cooked to perfection. Next was a collection of quality toppings with the standout being the confit garlic that elevated this to a whole other level. Everyone in the group that I was with agreed that we could go back again the following night without hesitation. I can't wait to go back to the nook.

We came in for a late lunch at 4pm, the restaurant is lovely inside beautiful ceiling and the visible pizza station added a nice touch, I like watching the cook spin the dough. The pasta is spectacular ! I recommend the baked rigatoni and mufaletta. Service was slow, it could be improved, took a while for the waiter to ask for our drinks even tho there were only two other tables.

This was a great spot for some amazing Italian style pizza. I didn't find anything to stand out in awe however.

Parking: The parking situation wasn't very clear, but there were definitely free options to look out for.

Booked solid on a Monday night means they're popular for a good reason. Sat outside, it was still super pleasant. There are warmers outside of needed. Food is excellent, as is service. Can't go wrong.

My wife and I were really feeling like some good local cuisine tonight and decided to go for the Margerita pizza, Italian sausage pizza and the meatballs. Pizzas were cold on pickup, boxes were left on the counter open even though I received an order is ready for pickup notification. Holding the 2 pizzas and the meatballs which weighed about a 1/4 pound should have been the second clue for what was about to come. I love supporting local and have ordered from here last year but c'mon, can't blame Covid or inflation on this one. We received 2 Individual sized pizzas 24 each and 4 small flavorless pork meatballs the size of a golf ball with 3 very thinly cut pieces of what was supposed to be foccacia, $17...people, that is $4.25 each...insane I expected baseball size like any other italian restaurant ever. Lets face it though, if the food tastes great, price really doesn't matter as much. We'll, lets just say there is more flavor in a meal prepared by Guisseppe's in the superstore freezer section.
Grand total waz $75 buckaroos!!!. I get it....people love this place, for them the atmosphere kindles joy and im sure they "know the owners" and talk it up in one caliber or another. Well, sad to say but I'll take my 75 dollars elsewhere for more than a flavorless kids meal next time. The quality has gone down so much in the last year that this will be our last visit. Hopefully with improvement and fair pricing, consumers other than the elite can enjoy.
