Delicious homemade Mexican food. I had the quesadilla, and corn salad. The salad was tasty, but a large portion for a side dish. The quesadilla was very flavourful and it came with a delicious salsa verde. The cocktails were nicely mixed. Desert was a perfectly spiced brownie, with hints of hot pepper and cinnamon. Topped with a lightly spiced whipped cream. Decadent and delicious. The service was prompt and friendly.I will visit again next time I am in town.Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options (tostada, quesadilla, tortas, and tacos), as well as several side dishes.

Currently sitting at my table listening to live acoustic music with a soft background noise of happy voices.I was pleasantly surprised with this establishment. The hostess was on point, seating patrons, clearing tables and always with a happy demeanor. Excellent work ethic. My server (male who's name eludes me) was happy, polite and personable. He was not overly present, but knew just when to pop by and check in.The food was why I came in, hoping for my fix of mexican street food while out of town for work and boy did Nortenos deliver!I had chicken tostadas and the papas Al horno side and both were phenomenal. Will definitely continue to frequent here while out of town for work.Excellent job to everyone!

I've had better mexican food. Wasn't really what I was expecting. Wishing for more of a menu and the food was really salty.I had a birro burger which was so so pulled pork was terribly salty. We also had nachos that was a totally disappointment. Their Pico was just chopped tomatoes nothing else no onions ect. Will not visit again.

It was a huge let down! The place looked promising, server was friendly and the restaurant was aromatic, however the food we ordered had virtually no flavor. We ordered tacos, tostadas and taquitos and they all were without any flavours, all the meats were dry and bland, and one was a mushey paste, there wasn't even any heat to it. It's as if the chef refused to cook with chili peppers or any spice. Guac, Bar Burrito and Tacotime has way more flavor, sad to say.

everything is great, but the decor is like as if it was in Mexico. Definitely decor could use investment. Not the same as the north side location, or like other restaurants around town.

Food was decent except the barria tacos which were very bland, covered in cheap deep frying grease and should not be on the menu. They bring all your food out at once instead of having a starter as the food is all ready to go, all the pork, beef, shrimp, and chicken sitting in warmers all evening as they are too cheap to make it fresh when you order so by time you’re done your appetizer, your main is soggy and cold. Service is painfully slow. Carmelo our server checked on us once the entire meal, only because we asked another server for something and should not be working thereOne of the sons / “owners” has no idea how to manage staff or give directions. Plastic plates, cheap cutlery, napkins aren’t even napkin quality. Very overhyped for a Mexican restaurant. Wouldn’t be surprised if they close in a few years

Wanted somewhere different to have lunch and after reading the reviews this place fit the bill. Luv the decor, so bright and friendly. Staff were just amazing and friendly. After stating I’ve always been curious about pork belly she showed me a new dish with it. I was sold and didn’t regret. Found out I love pork belly especially when served with their pickled onions and jalapeño garlic aioli. I also snarfed a chicken tostada which was to die for. Washed this fab meal down with their margarita. Will be back here again to try more of their menu.

Realizing this has recently opened, there is a need for some polishing to the service, when ordering esquites...plates should be brought for everyone to share...shouldn't have to ask for utensils and napkins, considering the nature of the food being served.Service lacking, although pleasant(check back on your guests)the food is AMAZING and worth the waitWheelchair accessibility: accessible

First visit to this new location of this Mexican eatery. Decent crowd for early on a Friday evening, but we were sat immediately. Live entertainment had just started, so we did request a seat near the rear of the restaurant. Service and receiving our food was a little slow, but all our dishes came out fresh and hot. The standout of our meals was definitely the tostadas. We tried both the beef and chicken. We also had tacos and an order of taquitos, which were pretty good. The shrimp taco could have been a little hotter, but the shrimp were not over cooked and it had good spice to it. We had a pitcher of margaritas for the table. All in all this visit definitely warrants a second.
