I have always visited this location whenever I'm in Thunderbay to buy Persians and get my family to bring me dozens of Persians whenever they come to town. They have always been fantastic. As pricing started to go up, I still wasnt bothered. I had 4 dozen Persians ordered and each pack was 17.50. this price has started to become ridiculous. What has caused my poor rating though is that all 4 dozen I ordered were significantly over baked. They were much darker than previous times and the dough was much more firm and dryer out. For over $17 a pack this is absolutely unacceptable

Poor customer service and zero follow-up I called Nicci Bakery and was told to fill out a form — which I did right away — but no one ever called me back. When I tried following up, they kept putting me on hold for almost 10 minutes. I called again, and they immediately put me on hold the moment they heard my voice. After that, the line said “not available,” which honestly makes me think they blocked my number. I even tried calling the Balmoral Street location, and they picked up just to put me on hold again. Really disappointing experience — I was genuinely interested in their products, but this kind of service completely put me off.

Pastries were good, but service was bad. Cashier treated us like a nuisance for ordering 5 pastries. Not five dozen, but 5. She mumbled and seemed irritated when she had to repeat herself.

I would rate it more than 5 My experience was a breeze and I got the perfect customization for my reception cake The girl in the front counter was extremely helpful and then their supervisor, I think her name is Arsh. She was amazing. She explained me all details and gave me options to choose from based on my budget and the cake she delivered was wow wow wow. Everyone loveeeeed the cake. I wish I have a clear picture of my cake. It's exactly what we wanted. I posted both inspo and actual cake for reference. Will definitely come back.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to try the famous Persian dessert as it was sold out. Instead, we tried the traditional option, but it wasn’t to our taste — it was overly sweet.
Fabulous sandwiches! The bun is fresh, the pickles are homemade and the deli meat is top notch. Every single dessert is fantastic. Definitely recommend!

Get all Birthday & occasion cakes here - each one is so good and because they have the variety they do & quality across the board, it's easy to get different cakes year-to-year but enjoy them all the same! The gals that take the orders and check us out are friendly, easy-going and professional.

The customer service here is very very poor. The cashier was condescending and rude when I asked her a simple question about one of the pastries. It was a busy time of day for the bakery, however that is not an excuse for terrible customer service. Real Italian businesses would never treat customers like this. Baked good are very mediocre for what you’re paying. Won’t be back.
