In Thunder Bay for the first time and this place is excellent- as excellent as Toronto or Montreal.
Rice is perfect, rolls and maki are awesome sizes and the fish is super fresh! Sashimi very generous and well cut.
Staff and management are super kind and friendly.
Go here for in house dining or take away. You will be happy you did.

food was not terrible, it was okay. the amount of food i ordered and the price i paid, i would have expected a little more than a few thinly sliced skimpy pieces of eel and salmon on their respective special maki. the slices were so thin, you would have expected it as something for shabu shabu / hotpot.
the atmosphere is clean, washrooms are pretty clean, and the staff are nice and let you know what they liked on the menu in case you are undecided. last time i went they had a special going for your order before taxes you can get a sushi pizza thrown in. not bad. again, thinly sliced.
Okayest sushi joint.
-update- went to eat in and ordered the combo special. more than half of the maki was vegetables stuffed in with very little fish on it, disappointed, but at least it didnt make us sick like the bento stuff at the superstore 4/5 would revisit, staff still friendly and washrooms are air conditioned, a rarity in that city. every where else the washrooms are humid and nasty, this place is clean as heck.

I cannot express how great the food is here as well as the service. I’ve been here maybe 10+ times over the past 3 years I’ve lived here in tbay and not only are they super consistent with the quality, it almost seems like every time it gets better! I appreciate the quiet atmosphere when dining in and the presentation of the food when served. In addition, the wait time for the appetizers and the mains are almost non existent. This will continue to be the only sushi place I go to in tbay!

Yesterday me and my family went here to eat and we really enjoyed the udon soup because they have a huge quantity of udon soup. We also ordered sushi, sushi was really good but the seaweed was a little chewy and was not that good but everything else about the sushi was great.

This place is NOT all you can eat. The pricing is very expensive. $3.25 for a miso soup! Anyways the quality of the food is very low. Nothing special unfortunately.

Very reasonable size portions. Rolls were made with high quality ingredients. My appetite was satisfied after a couple rolls. I spent over $50 on my takeout order and I was offered a free order of tempura. They also have rolls of the day at a discounted price. I would easily consider going back.

We weren’t sure where to eat dinner when we stopped in thunder Bay for the night. We decided to check out Osaka sushi. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was fantastic and lovely. I would definitely eat here again. If I lived in the area, I think this would be a regular dinner spot for me.

so good, i am not a sushi fan but i will 100% eat here. so many different options. definitely try the gyoza or shouga beef, or a chicken teriyaki roll!
