Pho Umami

We lived in Thunder Bay for two years. That’s where we discovered Pho Umami, and I had the best Vietnamese food of my life there ( called Bún Thai).😋 This year we moved to Sudbury, and I’ve searched all over Sudbury to find a Bún Thai as good as the one from Pho Umami. I haven’t found anything that comes close. I honestly really miss Pho Umami and their Bún Thai.😭❤️

Service is good and friendly, but place is dirty (floor is sticking) and food could’ve been more tasty for its price. Big portions though, but I’d rather prefer small portion for better quality.

Came here for the food, stayed because I’m super famous and had to bless them with a mukbang review. 🍜 Cameras were rolling, forks were flying, vibes immaculate. 10/10 would eat here again just to give them more clout.

My partner and I had the pho special for take out. It came with the meat in the broth (we usually get the meat raw in our experience but all good), and then the noodles/sprouts/basil/jalapeno were in a separate container. The broth was a little salty, but we like salty! Portions were great too. We enjoyed :)

Pho Umami used to be really good, my go-to place when I wanted Chinese Food.

Over time, their food quality started to decrease, I got way-waaay overcooked rice, black and disgustingly inedible wontons, and chicken balls that had pink in the middle.

I would have recommended this place a year ago, now, I recommend eating at Lucky's or any other Chinese Food place. They don't seem to give two shits about quality anymore, it's all about quantity now.

I’m back there again when I eat at Pho Umami.

Food was delicious. Interior needs updating.

Only downside to this place is the atmosphere of the dining area. Other than that the foods great, service is friendly.

Only one size of pho. Spring rolls and a bowl of pho was too much for one person. I did enjoy the leftover soup the next day. The spring rolls were big and crispy, but needed a bit more of the spice.
