So.. 2 ppl ordered drinks and an app while waiting for company to arrive. App comes ( pop corn chicken) no plates or cutlery. Had to ask. ( place still only had about 7 tables) not overwhming buay. Company arrived ( server never brought her a plate ro share an app or cutlery) ordered her beer waited what seemed waay too long for the amount of people in there to the point where I asked the awesome human that sat us, to send over the server. server goes to the wrong table than to us. We ordered 2 more apps as the 4th was on the way along with the mains. ? Mains came out BEFORE the apps..Bill arrives suggested tip was WITH tax. I was so hard pressed to leave her the $40 on the $226. A table of 8 came in as we were leaving. 1st time the husband went and he doesn't want to go back. We both asked no tomato on the burger and his came with tomato. simple ask. especially in this town. We usually over tip you can check with Nick at El Tres, DJ at Caribou, Lot 66 staff. They are happy when we visit 30% to 100% we have left for tips for great service at their places. Last night was one for the books and not in a positive manner.. I have not left a negative review for quite some time until today. The owner came out, didn't ask anyone how any thing was. No table touches. maybe thats why only 7 tables on a Friday night Prime Time was in there. That should have been our 1st clue.
Drink menu was so overpriced it’s not even funny. Our food was terrible, I had to send my plate back because my order was wrong the first time and when it came back the meat was cold. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and got the tiniest portion of pulled pork ever and little to no bbq sauce. Sides are not included with meals which is a bit ridiculous. Would not recommend at all.

I ordered a mushroom burger and fries came to $27. I pointed out that the burger on the website was $17 and they told me they haven't updated the prices in a long time. It's now $24. I was not happy about that.
The mushroom burger was bland and a little cold and the bun was just normal. I should have returned it and got my money back but they closed for the night.
The french fries were okay but a small portion.
Vegetarian options: They had a mushroom burger but it's not worth the $24.

Just paid 40$ for a below average burger and beer. Avoid this place if you can. Total ripoff.
I had the battered fish and chips. If you batter and no fish, order this dish. I would guess, since I didn't have a scale that there was less than 2 ounces of fish in the total order. Nothing was wrong with the fries. My wife had the remainders Caesar salad that was made with endive and the smoked ham that they put on it was burnt.

Good service, nice location. The brisket tacos were ok, not as tender as I thought it would be. But the overall experience was quite satisfactory!

Had a hard time deciding what to order with all the great menu options. Within the first few bites, we were discussing coming back every night we're in town. Our host Brittany was super helpful and friendly. I can't suggest here highly enough!

Excellent service. Very friendly servers with great knowledge about their food and drinks.
The dog friendly patio was why we went and visited. Our dog got his own iced water bowl!
The food was okay but didn't leave me wanting to come back for more. I had the GF gnocchi with meat balls. My friend had the bacon and cheese burger with thick fries. The meat was a little dry in both dishes.

Service was ok, deep fried olives were really good so were the deep fried banana peppers.
The potato skins were a little greasy, but still delicious. Had the brisket and blue cheese sandwich, it was fair.

Great selection of craft beers, but the food is expensive for the quality and size of the meals. Service is good, a bit of improvement in the food would go a long way to making this a staple in the Thunder Bay food scene.

Server sucked!!! “Forgot to hit send for you order”. Waited over an hr for appetizer, only 2nd table. Then after I finally asked where our food was, got our appetizer and food together. Then only table in restaurant. Never checked on us. Never came back to go be us our bill.

Was so looking forward to eating here on our trip to Thunder Bay! Huge disappointment! We were seated and told our server would be right with us. Another couple comes in and is seated by the same women who immediately brings them water and takes their drink order… comes back takes their dinner order. Meanwhile no one has acknowledged us with even a I will be right with you. We got up and sat at the bar…. a gentleman takes our drink order, gets my husband his beer and says he has to go out and get mint for my drink… never comes back! The saving grace was the amazing bartender. She took over and was so great! Had the deep fried olives and banana peppers which were so good. They need to work out their server issues and put the customers before their issues!
