Went to try the vadapov - unfortunately they were out. Tried a dosa instead - it had good flavour but was incredibly greasy (it seemed like it had been microwaved). Also tried the noodle burger. The patty was good but the bun was so dry it fell apart. At that point it was only feasible to eat the patty. May try Royal Paan again, but there are better options in Thunder Bay.

Ordered sweet lassi and what I got was not at all sweet. And they give it with crushed almond on top (almonds tasted bad like they were expired). Another thing I ordered was bombay grill sandwich but was not satisfied. They follow different recipe in this Royal paan, was not as good as other stores.

Recently we visited this restaurant but we had bad experience.We ordered 4 dosa’s but the table was too congested to eat between 4 people and taste was also not good.We ordered spring rolls as well but it was too oily.

I didn’t like dhosa and paratha. Seems like they don’t have salt 🧂 . Chef and management 👨🍳 have to improve their cooking quality. They only care about online orders, they don’t provide enough services and food to people who comes in restaurants.
Food taste is always inconsistent….cannot rely on if you want good indian taste… worst option to try dosa…you will always get disappointed if you order south indian food as no taste in sambhar and coconut chutney is full of water…service by server was good but food is bad…not recommended at all…

Horrible experience already 2-3 times. Couple of times the food was served cold wasn't really even as described. Schezwan rice with Manchurian was actually served without Manchurian even after the given instructions. One time had to wait for over 45 mins for a simple dish just because the server took the order and then forgot it later. As if all this wasn't enough, the last time I visited the restaurant they served us Malai Kofta with the slight wrapper of butter in it. Seriously!? How can you guys be so irresponsible? Done with this place, never coming back, never gonna recommend it to anybody else in wild dreams even!!!
