Stopped im for a short visit and wanted to pick up some beer for family back home. Staff was very helpful in choosing the right options. I also especially liked that they give back to the community.
Definitely worth the stop!
And while I personally am not a beer drinker, my family all said it was great.

Decent brewery with an enjoyable, rustic decor. Cross selection of beers, ranging from some sort of pale ale (various), along with an oatmeal stout and (possibly, they were out) a sour. The service was good and the hospitality pleasant. The beer was good, but not exceptional. There is a lot of outdoor seating too.

Found my way to another brewery. Great beers. Would of loved to try more, but had to walk back to the hotel. Food was excellent if a bit small portions. More room for beer I suppose. Come with some patience, because it can be a bit of a line for beer and wait for food. All and all worth the visit.

If you want your fresh fuel in Thunder bay then the perfect place to have fresh beer from the tap.

Beefcakes, as a new addition has been great! Nikki is always a pleasure to deal with, she is kind and wonderful and even tho, there is only ever 2 of them working the whole kitchen and service - they are always so professional and they work their butts off! Thanks to you all for making the place feel like home.

Great brewry with awesome staff and delicious beers. Planty of brew options to match anybodys taste. Worth mentioning the very impressive selection of merchandise. Kudos to the marketing people, original and very cool merchandise.

We took the brewery tour as a family. Katie, who took us on the tour, was absolutely awesome. The website says the tour takes about 30 minutes, but Katie spent more than an hour with us. We asked her a zillion questions and she had answers for every one of them, and not once did she display any impatience or annoyance that we were asking so many questions. We were given three substantial beer samples during the tour. The tour route is rather short as the brewery is small, but Katie overall made it a great experience! Thank you, Katie.

Right now, I’m sipping on a Logger-ita, a brilliant beer-based slushie twist on a margarita crafted with Northern Light, our smooth and refreshing light lager (aka my personal favorite).It’s crisp, tangy, refreshing, and SO GOOD I literally had to pause mid-sip to rave about it.

Fantastic place — we had an excellent breakfast here! The service was top-notch, both at the bar and where they serve the food. Everything was explained clearly and with a great attitude. If you’re not sure about something, they’re more than happy to help. Super clean, very welcoming atmosphere, and the prices are really reasonable. We genuinely enjoyed our breakfast — it was just perfect.

Staff checked in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was good — that’s real care. These folks know what they’re doing. The reputation is well-earned. Highly recommend this place — and the beer? Absolutely delicious. Finger-licking good. Can’t recommend it enough — you won’t regret coming here!

Stopped in for a flight, staff was great, the place was nice, and the beer was pretty good. Worth a visit for sure.

If you’re only visiting one place in Thunder Bay, this should be it. The interior and service were excellent. Honestly, we didn’t enjoy the food, but the beer was fantastic.

As a vegetarian, I recently tried the Eat Local Veggie Pizza at the Brewery, and it was absolutely delicious! 🌱🍕

I also ordered the cinnamon sugar churros from Beefcake’s at the Brewery and wow, they were next-level good! 🤤 It was my first time ever trying churros, and I couldn’t resist… I ended up eating almost all of them before I even thought to take a photo! Trust me — that one last piece was all I had left to snap. 😅

If you’re searching for a fun, laid-back spot with great eats and craft beer, Sleeping Giant Brewing Co. is definitely one of the best places to hang out in Thunder Bay.
