I know Stans has been around forever. When I picked up the pizza staff waa very friendly and my order was completed promptly. The pizza size was average for the price. The crust waa nice. Although there was very little sauce so ir was a bit dry. Half the pizza was with musheooms. I guess its on me for assuming they would use FRESH mushrooms. If the pizza wasn't so dry I likely would have let it go
So I decided to call Stans . Just to discuss the mushrooms. They were slimy. My dog didn't eat them. I was recieved with the same sweet girl who rang me up. Asking for a manager she informed me that she was the one who deals with issues. Her response to my complaints about the mushrooms was......staff prefer mushrooms from a can.... ummmmm. I suppose as long as staff are happy. .. customers like me are just a Karen lol. I had zero intentions of writing a review. But. I can't help feeling disappointment wirh my experience. ...especially knowing that I was dealing with a long standing local restaurant. Id expect more. Someone feel free to tell me im over exaggerating. Idk. Eating out is a luxury these days. Even take out pizza. So feeling unheard. Full but unsatisfied is a bit of a big deal to many. ALSO... my bad for not asking about the mushrooms ahead of time... i just assumed a local restaurant of decades only used the best ingredients. My bad

Great thin crust pizza, very tasty. Friendly service. Order ahead for pick up or delivery, as they don't take walk-ins.

Pizza is really good here. And I'm a super picky pizza picker.

I recently tried this place and had mixed feelings about the experience. The pizza, unfortunately, didn’t quite live up to the expectations. While the toppings were decent and visually it looked great, the overall flavor just wasn’t there. It seemed like it was missing something—possibly more sauce or seasoning. The taste reminded me a bit of those upscale-looking but bland gourmet pizzas you'd find at a big-box super center.
Given the price, I was hoping for a more flavorful bite. It felt a bit underwhelming for what I paid.
On the bright side, the wings were surprisingly good—tasty, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. Also, I have to mention the customer service: the lady who took my order over the phone was friendly and super helpful, which made the experience more pleasant overall.
I might give it another shot, as all the reviews say differently. I would like to see if this was a one-off. But for now, it's a bit of a mixed bag.

Wow …. I haven’t had Stan’s pizza in about 30 plus years and the hubby wanted to try tonight so we got one! It still tasted like it did when I was a teenager! Wings were a bit overcooked for my liking but enjoyed the pizza for sure
Been getting this pizza for years taste has never changed since I was a kid. Absolutely delicious every time. And now they take debit on delivery makes it even better.
Ordered a regular size veggie pizza and I’m really impressed by the quality of the pie. I can’t remember the last time I had a pizza with a generous amount of toppings on it, consistency from bite to bite. It was definitely worth the wait and I will be back.
The BEST pizza in town. My go to is always jumbo half Thunder Cape and half Hawaiian and it's always amazing.
Haven't had their pizza in a long while...it was better than I remembered... couldn't stop eating it ??

Would review Pizza but you can only call in pizza orders, went to location told to go outside and order by phone.
Called, ordered, put on hold and then told they would "try" to get me a pizza in 30 minutes.
hard pass

Scuzzy place, no dine in option, order ahead only, shady characters hanging around, didn't stick around to try the food.

Loved the pizza. We got sausage and onions and it was delish. Not very inviting on the outside. We called in and did take away. The lady working inside was very friendly. Recommend for sure.

Classic place, delicious and been around forever! The only reason I gave a 1 star for atmosphere is the building is old and no dine in available (don’t let that fool you) it’s been a family go to before I was even born. The Jumbo Thundercape special has a special place for me and a lot of locals

Why is it that a large 8 slice vegetarian pizza with 8 ingredients including the cheese costs almost as much as the jumbo 16 slice 10 ingredient pizza. That makes no sense. Everywhere you go vegetarians are paying more for less. $31.75 for a large veggie or $35.75 for a jumbo twice the size? I bet the price is still the same even if you don’t want one or some of the toppings. Vegetables are cheaper than meat at the grocery store. That’s a fact.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarians pay more and get less. Options are very limited.
