Swiss Chalet is my husband’s favourite restaurant ever. We are so sad they had to close all their restaurants im Winnipeg. But every time he goes to Thunder Bay, everyone knows where he is going for sure. ? This time he took us to thunder bay and of course there is no way we wouldn’t eat here. We just love it. The food is always great and the staff are amazing.

Dry ribs, service was awful waited over an hour to receive our food. No quilty check. Definitely will not return.

Our family went to dine in at the Thunder Bay restaurant yesterday evening. We ordered perogies as a starter, they were rock hard/burnt when we got them. After that we ordered our meals, my daughter and I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes, their dad ordered a half a chicken with mashed potatoes & my youngest ordered a poutine & burger.
The half of chicken came bloody/pink, we mentioned it to the waitress but she assured us that it was fine and cooked. My youngest took one bite of the burger and didn’t want it, I opened it and the patties were burnt. Our chicken sandwiches must of sat for a while because the bread was really soggy, the chicken was pink also.
After getting home 2 out of the 4 of us ended up getting really sick, I’m certain it was food poisoning. It was not fun AT ALL.
Overall the service was good but the food wasn’t. It was a complete waste of $120 and I regret even going there.

Worst service ever. I am waiting for an order placed online since last one and a half hour(quite literally). Moreover i cancelled it after noticing that they are using takeout bags from the floor to pack these orders. Disgusting.

Came to dine in before going to CLE on the 8th of August. Food was fantastic, but service was horrible, we were told to pre-pay our food before they started making it. there were a few other people dining in but I didn't see them being asked to pre-pay.

My husband picked up take out at the local restaurant. The ribs are yesterday's; extremely dry, impossible to cut, actually made crackling noise when I finally cut it. And they were back ribs; ordered at 5 pm! My side was just as horrid. Not enough lettuce that wasn't black/wilted to even make a salad! Be a cold day in Hawaii before I go back.?

The chicken was very good. The ribs were dry although they did fall off the bone and were okay. Fries are always awesome and chalet sauce is the best!!! Delivery was fast and food came hot.
