Crazy wait times for uber and skip deliveries. This restaurant has put wait times crazy early then their regular prep times and make delivery drivers wait crazy, as a result, customers blame the drivers.

I went to Swiss chalet on Mon Aug 25th , it was fairly busy with a 1 table with 20 people.
I sat for 10 minutes before my server acknowledged me. After I ordered my food and drink it took another 5 minutes for my drink to come out.
And another 40-45 minutes before I could get my food.
While tables around me we're getting food.
The table beside me came in 25 minutes after I did and got appetizers and drinks right away within 10 minutes. And we got our entrees at the same time. I'm disappointed in the service. And I felt as if I was treated unfairly. Swiss chalet thunderbay please do better. Next time around.

I tried the ribs before and it wasn't the best but I did try their chicken which is always good however the ribs are the worst ones I ever had I hope you guys change that it's a much needed improvement

I had the quarter chicken dinner & was quite disappointed at how small the piece of chicken was - very small & definitely not enough to fill you up. I've never been to a Swiss Chalet location that served chicken that small.

This is not something I wanted to do, but after going to Swiss Chalet in Thunder Bay once a month for the past 10-15 years, our family is very disappointed with what happened on July 14th. My Mom & Dad and some of Mom’s siblings and their spouses and nieces and nephews have been enjoying a monthly meal at Swiss Chalet every month. The numbers vary between 15 & 20 (2 times in the last year it exceeded 20, but never anywhere near 30). We never know the exact numbers of who will attend but we book our tables for 15-20 people a month in advance, as we are wrapping things up and paying our bills. The waitress (usually the same one), says she will write it on the calendar (so why aren’t they prepared with enough staff to accommodate a large group?). Nothing has ever been mentioned about only accepting 15 people for a walk in (which technically we aren’t a walk in because we have prebooked). At the end of the meal on July 14th, the attached letter was presented and the young manager stood by as the waitress did all the talking. Not only is the letter harsh and not an accurate reflection of the true picture, it is not even on official Swiss Chalet letterhead. Family emotions range from sad, angry and disappointed. We want head office to be aware of this situation as this group of people will never be back.

Food tastes great but was lukewarm ribs and fries. Restaurant was reasonably busy, short staffed, so I understand some but service was lacking. Waitress seemed to have no time for us but one's attitude can always be good. It wasn't. Only one ticket was usable the others a mess in ladies. Mens had urine all over the floor. No finger bowl, asked for rib sauce and was given chalet sauce. Not a great experience.

We had high hopes coming in for lunch yesterday, but the experience was disappointing. One of the servers, a lady with pink and blue hair, barely acknowledged us. She spent most of her time chatting with other staff and never once came by to check how the food was or if we needed anything. We felt completely ignored throughout the meal. We have been visiting this restaurant for past 2 years, but we have never felt so neglected.

When you go out to a sit-down restaurant, you expect to feel welcomed and looked after. Otherwise, we might as well have ordered in. The food was fine, but the lack of attention and care really took away from the overall experience. Definitely not the level of service we expected.

When food arrived parts of it was cold, the beef and the gravy. No excuse for cold food at a restaurant better management of the kitchen would fix that.
