eaten at this one, both Kingston locations, a few in Ottawa, and I think some in the GTA. typically a good experience but then you hear horror stories about these places (usually mall locations) having roaches.I wouldn't eat here if you paid me. which is reflected at this location by their sub-par health rating.AND to top if off their tofu is grilled in the same pan the chicken is done in. OR WAS when I chose to stop eating at Thai express.

My wife and I have had Thai Express many times and in many different cities and weren't disappointed, but for the first time we were both disappointed with the quality of food at the Thunder Bay location. Horrible tasting, very oily, extremely disappointed. Won't be eating there ever again and wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Update: went to the location spoke to the manager regarding a situation. They were very professional and kind. Will go back. Staff are very kind.
Terrible food. Rice is so mushy and sticky. That tomato in the plate is rotten. Got probably 3 pieces of beef in the whole rice that's it. Needs to shutdown that place or have better food.
Horrible. Yes it's mall fast food but thai fried rice is not a plate of rice with soy sauce and a few pieces of chicken with no vegetables. Looked disgusting so refused to eat it. Staff were rude as well.
I usually order from here and it's normally pretty good. But today I order the tai rice with pineapple, carrots and tomatos. Im pretty dissapointed my shrimp tastes old and I barely had any pineapple or carrots and literally no tomatoes in it at all. I'm willing to give it a second chance but today it was not good at all.....
Have lunched there frequently over a few years now but recently seems to have changed in a bad way. Rice is day old, undercooked and dry. Food is often not hot enough and very inconsistent in quality and quantity. Too bad the older guys that used to work there are gone. Seems to be run by kids now.
