Awesome atmosphere, pretty decent selection of vegan food. The deep fried pickles are really tasty, big portion as well. Always friendly service. However, I gotta say, on the days they have 'dj's', I've consistently found the music selection to be embarrassingly outdated. If you want to dance to some good music, try to avoid 'Dj Rogue'. They play top 40 hits that were popular 20 years ago. Would be nice if they updated the play list to current stuff. Why not sample popular music from tiktok or insta? Last time we were there, Dj Rogue played one Bad Bunny song from his new album - amazing- and then abruptly ruined the vibe and played some shit like 'Don't Stop Believing'. That song is a classic! I get it. But so overplayed. PLZ, blow to dust off that playlist sir. I beg of you.

Staff were rude. No tables cleaned, but they were almost all empty. She looked at us like we were crazy for wanting to sit and have a drink, told us “hope you aren’t here to eat”. Overall, so unimpressed with the hospitality at this establishment. Left without ordering drinks or food.

How can the food be rated or establishment rated if u go in for a take out order and u can't even get a menu to look at cause the joint is as server put it to busy to take orders ? Kitchen and establishment was still on open hours ? If its that swamped close the doors to public

It has been a while, and it will be a very much longer while until I go back. The food has really taken a nose dive from what I remember, and there is not so much on offer either. More money, less food, much less quality. Can't blame the front of house staff, they're awesome.

Locally owned and operated, great place for a drink and or full meal, large portions for every dish offered. Nice staff. This place is pretty popular, many themed evening events through out the year, fun atmosphere. It will get full and loud on the weekends and some evenings. So plan accordingly. Thank you Foundry for your years of dependable, clean, honest service.

Just left dinner from there. I have only ever had good service there one single time and it was certainly not tonight.
Consistently have awful service from the servers there. Our server took our order and never returned till I went up to where she was standing and talking and asked her for boxes. She walked by us plenty of times. The food was cold and honestly not that good. Other than the mozza sticks, those were good
I also just wanted to say thank you to the server who brought out our app, the cutlery and plates and our mains. You were wonderful!! I didn’t catch her name but she had brown hair and glasses!

Edit: to add, in response to the offer of a gift card, 2 tables walked in after us, both were served, both servers glanced our way and decided we weren't worth their times. We could clearly see them all in the back chatting away. Busy in the back? Give me a break. I don't want your money, just do better

Not a great experience last night at the Foundry. We started with a different server than we ended up with who took our drink order, and forgot to place my drink order with the bar (my husband and friend both got theirs). Then we were told after ordering our food that it was going to be a 40 min wait for the food - we were fine with this because it was Canada Day but would have preferred being told this before ordering. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an app for the table and they completely forgot about them (they had told us they would come out before our meals - they didn’t) then when they said they were going to bring them out someone else came to our table and told us they were all out. We saw other tables get them just before we were told this. When our bill came they charged us more than was advertised on the menu, we didn’t notice until after we paid. If their prices went up they failed to mention that. I don’t usually leave reviews but we were so disappointed, I know it was busy but I feel like these were avoidable issues.
