Sat in, ignored by several servers, one even looked our way when we tried to flagged her down and again, proceeded to ignore us. 20 minutes of nothing, and on a Tuesday haha
Edit: to add, in response to the offer of a gift card, 2 tables walked in after us, both were served, both servers glanced our way and decided we weren't worth their times. We could clearly see them all in the back chatting away. Busy in the back? Give me a break. I don't want your money, just do better

Not a great experience last night at the Foundry. We started with a different server than we ended up with who took our drink order, and forgot to place my drink order with the bar (my husband and friend both got theirs). Then we were told after ordering our food that it was going to be a 40 min wait for the food - we were fine with this because it was Canada Day but would have preferred being told this before ordering. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an app for the table and they completely forgot about them (they had told us they would come out before our meals - they didn’t) then when they said they were going to bring them out someone else came to our table and told us they were all out. We saw other tables get them just before we were told this. When our bill came they charged us more than was advertised on the menu, we didn’t notice until after we paid. If their prices went up they failed to mention that. I don’t usually leave reviews but we were so disappointed, I know it was busy but I feel like these were avoidable issues.

Great atmosphere. We happened upon this place while in town and looking for a good place to eat.
we Just Attended myself and Co workers and the Food(Fish and Chips) was PHENOMENAL, The portion is Amazing and goes hand in hand with the price. 100% To Return if back in town in the near future. 100% Recommended to eat here.

Great place for craft beer and music in Thunder Bay. Spacious, old pub style, over 25 beers on tap and many cans as well. Regular music events look great although I did not attend one. Bartender knows his stuff. Food is regular pub fare but good quality. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Recommended destination.

This is a cool Irish inspired pub. There was live Celtic music during our visit which made for the perfect vibe in the Port city of Thunder Bay! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a traditional pub experience. The fish and chips were delicious and the pickle chips are a unique take on deep fried pickles.

had a fantastic experience at The Foundry! Their tap beer selection is top-notch, offering a great variety for any beer lover. The wings were equally impressive—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and a great match with the drinks.
What truly stood out, though, was the service. Our server was incredibly kind and caring, making sure we had everything we needed while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it made the visit all the more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a place with great beer, delicious wings, and outstanding service, The Foundry is definitely worth checking out!
