Great place for craft beer and music in Thunder Bay. Spacious, old pub style, over 25 beers on tap and many cans as well. Regular music events look great although I did not attend one. Bartender knows his stuff. Food is regular pub fare but good quality. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Recommended destination.

This is a cool Irish inspired pub. There was live Celtic music during our visit which made for the perfect vibe in the Port city of Thunder Bay! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a traditional pub experience. The fish and chips were delicious and the pickle chips are a unique take on deep fried pickles.

had a fantastic experience at The Foundry! Their tap beer selection is top-notch, offering a great variety for any beer lover. The wings were equally impressive—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and a great match with the drinks.
What truly stood out, though, was the service. Our server was incredibly kind and caring, making sure we had everything we needed while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it made the visit all the more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a place with great beer, delicious wings, and outstanding service, The Foundry is definitely worth checking out!

Service was nowhere near expectations, felt as if we were being ignored the whole night. Food was alright but wasn't nearly enough to make up for the ignorant servers. Practically ruined the whole night for me and my buddies.
management only believes word of mouth and doesnt give those applying a proper chance when hiring. customer service isnt that great either, cant see myself returning. foods decent but overall customer service sucks.

My rating is based on a company party that I attended here last week. As someone who bartended and served at restaurants all through their 20s, our server was dressed in a manner I would deem unkempt to serve a corporate event. Dirty shirt, messy hair. Her basic steps of service were lacking as I never once even learned her name. Drinks were wrong and guests had to walk down to the bar from the loft to have them corrected themselves. No one in the party of about 20 thought any dish was better than average. Some mains were brought out not to order preferences even though there was a long wait time on the food. The appetizers were sad. And I can’t even begin to describe my disappointment in the mozzarella sticks which going into this event I had raved about and looked forward to. Overall I wouldn’t eat food here again. I have been to this establishment many times and the food quality has been declining since the end of Covid. They host fun events and the vibes are good here but I wouldn’t come for anything more than a drink again.

We went tonight for trivia and dinner we are regulars at the trivia nights we have always had a good time but tonight are waitress clearly didn’t want to be there not once did she smile she wasn’t pleasant she never asked if we wanted refills or ask how we were doing I had to clear are table twice she needs to be trained probably I don’t no her name cause she never told us she was a tall brunette thin covered in tattoos
