Stopped in for a day of remote work on my voyage around Lake Superior and my experience was phenomenal. Bright, friendly, great coffee and bakery, and a gorgeous space...couldn't ask for more! Will be back next time I am in the Thunder Bay area.

Loved the coffee and dessert. Stopped on the way from Toronto to Winnipeg. I'm leaving a review so that I don't forget how great this place was

A must stop whenever I make the trip home! Service and Care for ALL customers, just like you remember it use to be in the industry. Kevin's attentivness and knowledge helped me pair my mouthwatering fresh Rhubarb Loaf with the perfect beverage. Made me dare a new coffee adventure and blew my mind with a game changing shaken espresso.

This café is inside a beautiful old church. It’s very peaceful and quiet — perfect for relaxing.

I had a latte and chai tea, both were really good. The loaf was sweet and crunchy.

The big stained-glass window makes the place feel warm and special. A lovely spot to sit, enjoy your coffee.

Took a break in Thunder Bay on the way roadtrip — and this was the perfect stop to slow down.

The coffee and snacks, Delicious. The service, Prompt and Helpful. The atmosphere, Immaculate! The church building is a fantastic spot for this coffee shop with beautiful windows and art all around and plants everywhere to make the space feel beautiful, warm, and peaceful. Highly recommend. Also there is a room at the top of the tower available, when not in use, for a nice view out into the town. Worth a look if you have the time

Went in yesterday morning with my sister the barista didn’t acknowledge us at all when we walked in, she continued her conversation for about 10 ish minutes pulled her phone out made a Facebook post and recommended a few places to the people she was taking to, all I needed was a “I’ll be with you in a moment” or even take our order and continue talking but she completely ignored us and made us feel very disrespected and disappointed. The building is beautiful and the inside is very welcoming but the service was terrible.

Delicious baked goods and coffee. You can get a latte for which you don't have to ask for extra shots of espresso for it to taste like coffee! Great service provided by kind staff with a sense of humor. :)

Went in this morning, barista was talking to what seemed to be some out of town customers but they weren’t actually buying anything and the barista wasn’t actually making or selling anything. Fine, continue your conversation and what you’re doing but we are paying customers waiting to be seen.
Over heard the barista tell them about her making a facebook post and pulled her phone out, while talking to the ladies she was making a Facebook post and on her phone. Kept talking to the ladies about recommendations for breakfast, something about her favorite places in Thunder Bay and her husbands, etc.

When we walked in we didn’t get anything, not a “hi” not a “I’ll be with you in a second” literally nothing. My brother and I stood there between 5-10 minutes waiting for the barista to atleast acknowledge us but that never happened, she carried on with her conversation as if we weren’t even there. We ended up walking out and going to Calico Coffee house which was amazing service and coffee!
Will debate trying again but this left and terrible taste in my brother and i’s mouth for this local place. Atleast acknowledge your customers when they walk in.

Very pleasant service; good espresso drinks/professional barista protocols and great old school “coffeehouse” atmosphere. A very rare jewel all along the north shore of Superior.

Entrance is subtle and not easy to find ore-caffeine - very self effacing, around back with little signage or fanfare, like some old speakeasy. If you find it, you deserve to be here.

Baked goods are top notch, too.

The Habit Coffee and Bakeshop is a really welcoming spot, located inside a beautifully repurposed old church. There's plenty of seating, a solid menu of drinks and baked treats, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a flat white and it was smooth and well made, clearly benefiting from the high-quality machine they use. The playroom for kids was a great bonus and made it easy to relax. Would definitely come back again.

The atmosphere and staff combined with great coffee. This place supports local needs i sonny ways. I come here every time I come from the GTA.
