Still taste the same after 40 years so good.
Yummy as always! We love to bring some back to our family in Calgary whenever we drive through Thunder Bay. It is nice how they have ones un-frosted for travelling purposes. It's best to order a day ahead just to make sure they have enough for you. We were lucky they had a few left for us when we called day of, but by the time we arrived for pick up at 3:00 pm they were almost completely sold out of everything!
We had the best wraps! So fresh and the staff were so friendly. Ya gotta try the donuts!

We arrived at the store around 4:45 PM, excited to finally try this place after hearing so much about it. Unfortunately, we felt a bit rushed as the staff were getting ready to close, which made the experience feel a little hurried.
We ordered the donuts with pink frosting. While the donuts were soft, they weren’t warm, and the frosting tasted fairly standard to me. I imagine that seasoned donut lovers may have tried more memorable options elsewhere.
Overall, it wasn’t quite the standout experience we were hoping for. While it may still be worth trying for some, I wouldn’t say it’s a must-visit or something to rush for.
Yes, the Persian and the Persian Man. This pastry was invented in Thunder Bay way back when it was still Port Arthur and Fort William. Any true Thundar Bayite will tell you that having a Persian is a delight, one of the best traditions of
the Thunder Bay area. We loaded up 4 dozen into our luggage to haul back to Fort McMurray to share with family and friends there. Persians, they are to die for, part of the fabric and history of Thunder Bay, which is a fabulous city by the way.

Danni, these Persians were worth the stop for sure. Thanks for your hospitality. Grazzi on the espresso too. Until next time!
Persians are so delicious. Easily my favourite doughnut. I wish I could get them in Saskatoon, but have to settle for getting a couple dozen frozen buns with tubs of icing to bring home after a trip to Thunder Bay!
