It was my boyfriend and I's first time going to The Sal last evening. We bought 2 novemburgers and a buffalo poutine (gravy did come with the poutine). I order online and paid for the food. When we went in they told us there machines paper got jammed so the kitchen didn't get our order right away, so we had to wait maybe 5-10 minutes for our food. As an apology for the delay, as I already paid for the order she couldn't give us a discount, but the lovely waitress...
This place was a cute little diner. We stopped by for some poutine on our way back home and they did not disappoint! We also got the burger nip and the hot honey fried chicken sandwich. I would say the chicken sandwich wasn't spicy like I would hope it to be but they were both very delicious. The server was friendly and helpful with recommendations. We didn't have trouble parking when we went, but it looked like depending on the day it could be very busy. It's just...
Love a classic diner like Sals! This place was busy, so we had to wait around 15 minutes for a table. It was worth the wait - the club sandwich was one of the best I've ever had.
