Enjoyed a lovely lunch here with a group of friends. The quiche was a little bit different with a topping which reminded me of Yorkshire pudding. Very delicious, not overly filling. Salad was fresh and tasty. All the dishes served looked out of the ordinary. Must go back again to try some of the others.

I have been wanting to go here for quite some time. Prior to quarantine (mid-March) I finally visited with some co-workers for a work lunch. It was great! The atmosphere was lovely. Very bright and clean and nice decor. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member (or owner?). The menus were well done with a great variety of offerings. I got an eggs benedict. This was 4 months ago, so cannot recall exactly what menu item it was... except it was delish! Looking forward to restaurants opening up again so that I can go back.

Not fine dining... well, maybe mediocre dining. But, these potatoes are super cute. But I have to review because I do NOT understand all the rave reviews. The hollandaise sauce tasted prepackaged and not freshly made (or a very strange recipe that has a pastey texture). "Traditional" came with ham instead of canadian bacon. Potato and berries portions super small. Very underwhelmed. Im usually stuffed when I go out to eat anywhere but I left hungry from here. Mostly friendly but impersonal service. (I had eaten not quite half of the portion when I took this photo :).) Also, decor seemed quite dated. Although an option for breakfast, personally, and sadly, I will never be back.

This is probably the best place you will get breakfast in town. The place is clean and the service is excellent. The cuisine leans towards French and the food bursts with flavor. I tried the salmon, broccoli and poached egg dish for breakfast and it was decadent, to state the least. You must try the "Reviver". Definitely will go back when opportunity arises. I haven't tried their lunch menu but very eager to do so.

Wonderful, relaxing place for an interesting, delicous original bite. The menu has so many great combinations, you can tell there is a little of the owners hearts in the menu. I had a hard time choosing what to order. Ended up drinking two Reviver Fruit Juices, wow delicious and refreshing! For breakfast I tried eggs Florentine, I was not dissapointed. The potatoes are really goodd. I have been driving across Canada on vacation, and this is the best meal I have had so far. The customer service was fabulous, a very nice lady (I think she was the owner) helped me figure out their menu. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town from San Francisco again. 10 stars for wonderful service, delicious food, really fair prices, and really good potatoes! They even give you a delicious mint chocolate, or tiny homeade cookie with your bill. Very good customer service, and excellent homeade food!

Thyme has moved to Cumberland St. S. It's location is great, the decor is wonderful, the food is delicious, the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant atmosphere feels like it belongs in a larger city. It's charming with quaint touches and lovely table settings. It's also in an historic building that adds to the charm. But the most important part of any restaurant is the food. My friends from Calgary and I had different entrees and each one was beautifully presented and tasted really good. I had the eggs Benedict and they were perfectly cooked. I thought the side was mushrooms at first. But to my surprise they were potatoes. My friends were very pleased with my restaurant choice. I was too. It's going to become a "go to" restaurant for me.

Amazingly friendly, well presented waitress. Best breakfast I've had in Thunder Bay. Beautiful restaurant, decor is great and a lot of the original charm of the building had the Eggs Benedict and it was spot on, not to lemony like a lot of places these days. Price was good breakfast meals ranging from $11 for French toast to $14 for eggs Benedict with potatoes and fresh fruit. Made up a kids plate for the little one as well.

Thyme was recommended to me while I'm visiting Thunder Bay, and I was not disappointed! The eggs Benedict was the best eggs Benedict I've ever had! At first was not going to order it because I was looking for a gluten free option, but then the owner (I think) advised me that a gluten free eggs Benedict was actually an option! I wish I could come back here everyday. Will definitely return next time I'm visiting! Excellent creamed earl grey tea as well. Highly recommend this adorable place.
