Since the beginning of December, I’ve been visiting this Tim Hortons every weekday—twice a day—after starting a new job nearby. Because I’m here so often, I’ve had plenty of time to notice both the positives and the areas that need improvement.
The products themselves are generally made well and meet expectations. However, the in-store experience consistently falls short.
Staff frequently fail to acknowledge customers waiting inside. The focus appears to be heavily on drive-through service, often at the expense of those standing in line. A simple greeting like, “Hi there, I’ll be right with you,” takes only a few seconds and makes a big difference.
Cleanliness is another ongoing issue. The dining area and bathrooms are often dusty and in need of attention. While I understand this is a busy location, it’s reasonable to expect a basic standard of cleanliness. Given the volume of business this store sees, dedicating staff to cleaning should be achievable.
This location has potential, but improving customer acknowledgment and cleanliness would greatly enhance the overall experience.

The line in the drive throw was huge, 20 cars waiting. I stead of waiting there, I decide to go inside to order. The line was to the door, 12 employees were working, 9 were dedicated to the drive through and only 3 for people inside. The told me they did not want what I wanted to order and then I saw an employee preparing the exact same thing. When I told the girl that was attending me, she gave me the worst look and put my order in. Two women decided not to wait any longer and leave. Honestly the service is going worse every day. It is suppose to be a fast food coffee store but you have to wait 20 minutes to be attend

I came this morning to get breakfast wrap with egg & cheese only. I’m pure vegetarian and there was piece of bacon inside my wrap. You guys needs to be careful when making orders or change gloves to maintain hygiene.

I come here regularly and the staff is absolutely amazing. Some of the nicest people I’ve met here. I always enjoy the food and drinks here. This is my favourite Tim Horton’s in the city.

I was visiting someone at the hospital and ended up eating here for a week. The staff are lovely! Customers could be kinder.

I’ve been coming to this Tim Hortons for years, but recently the experience has become uncomfortable.

First, mobile orders are consistently very slow. The staff don’t seem to have an organized workflow — for example, no one is clearly assigned to handle mobile orders, which causes confusion and delays.

Second, there’s one tall male staff member who doesn’t seem very professional. Unlike the other hardworking team members, he often walks around without helping much, sometimes asking others (likely students) to do his tasks. If he is the manager, that will be aweful for this store...When he’s at the mobile order station, he often ignores questions or responds dismissively, which feels unhelpful and unpleasant.

I’ve also noticed hygiene concerns — it seems like staff often touch multiple surfaces and then handle the cups directly, which doesn’t feel right.

Overall, this location has lost the warm, welcoming atmosphere I used to love at Tim Hortons. I really miss that genuine Canadian friendliness that used to make Tim Hortons special.
