Checked in to Valhalla at 3 pm on Christmas Day. Was told the restaurant was open until 11 pm. I went at 7:30 pm and was told kitchen was closed because they were busy. Going hungry on Christmas...not cool. Room #118

Was very excited to try this place, menu looked great, but ended up being severely disappointed by food and service… service was extremely slow even though it was not busy, we ended up late back to our conference. Ordered a smoked duck salad with asiago crisps, scallions, pickled squash and cherry vinaigrette… it had no cheese or scallions and dressing does not look like vinaigrette. House made cream (not pictured) was good. My colleagues’ dishes came out one by one at a very slow rate, sometimes cold, not really matching the quality suggested by the menu and prices. Don’t know what went wrong today.

I went here twice during my stay and both times I went, it was good! The food was good and so was the service. I love that this place has nice vegan options, I didn't expect their breakfast menu to have a proper vegan option. It was super filling and tasted good. The black bean burrito was also delicious, it had a nice spice to it. The food came out fast, too! I recommend it.
Vegetarian options: Well, it has nice vegan options for those who are looking for somewhere to eat and have items that cater to dietary reactions. Most places don't cater to being vegan, so I really appreciate that this place does, it tastes good and doesn't leave you hungry.

Disappointed with this restaurant during my stay. I ordered breakfast both mornings, both of which unfortunately were nearly inedible. I had the vegan breakfast one morning and the oatmeal the next. It was really disappointing to pay almost $20 for breakfast and throw most of it away. The servers were also quite short with customers. The look of the restaurant is nice, but the food at least in my experience is certainly not worth the price.

Great atmosphere to come socialize and have a drink. Not a large selection on the food menu. Tried the Kroppkakor (potato dumplings). They were lacking flavor. Just deep fried mashed potato, would be better with a protein filling - pork, beef? Good selection of local craft beers. Would visit again and maybe try something else on the menu.

Wanted white vinegar and could not find me any for my fries. I’m sure if they would have asked the kitchen they would have had some. Food was good though
Good beer selection and service. The menu selection is sparce. My partner had the steak, and I had the burger. The steak was a bad cut and nowhere near worthy of the cost. I don't recommend it, I had the burger which was good.

First impression when you walk in is of absolute grandure. The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. Had the fish and chips with the Danish tartar sauce and it was a perfect meal. Had a selection of local beers and the skal amber ale was great. Staff were super friendly. I would go here again.

Food usually sucks but atmosphere is good drinks are pretty good could be better. I had the steak it was $50 I would say not worth the price it was a decent steak but I was expecting more flavour , medium rare done well but just not worth the money
