Food was good! All you can eat price is: $38.95/person. See picture for all you can eat menu.
This is probably my favorite place to go for sushi! They have an all you can eat option every day (which, when with a big group is an excellent choice for those who want to try a little bit of everything). The service there is always quick and friendly. Lots of different seating options.

Wasabi put a platter for 18 people together for me, and it was amazing! We had a couple special requests, and food limitations, and they put together an amazing spread! Thank you so much Ken & your staff!

Came here a few times, it was okay. But my most recent visit on Friday, October 10th 2025 was disturbing. Ordered the all you can eat menu, and upon waiting for our food we witnessed one of the staff members pick up a dead rat/mouse off the ground under the table near us, without gloves, just using a napkin. Needless to say appetite was lost. After that it became very aware to us how untidy the place is kept. Won’t be returning after that.

Wasabi is a great spot to go eat
Hadn’t been to Wasabi in a couple years, And I got to say the quality has gone way down. Ordered the all-you-can-eat and the sashimi was tiny. The size of sugar cubes. And they limit you to only 10 per person, Which I thought would’ve been OK, but then i seen the size of the sashimi. Very disappointed. The Nigiri was also paper thin and very small, Smaller than the rice that it was on. The rolls were also not very good quality. Wasabi used to be the place in Thunder Bay to go when you wanted good quality sushi. But that’s not the case anymore, I will not be going back.

Amazing service 👏 great food. I was dining alone and was placed near the front entrance, it was busy. Next time I will request a more private location. Can't wait for my next visit.

Bill was 122$ for ala cart order :6 rolls appetizer and tea was a little more expensive than expected , very small portions of fish on rolls , not very good on flavour, except for the salmon roll the waitress recommended

The most terrible service ever! Was there last month. The food was just neutral. Sashimi could be the best among them. However, the service was absolutely the worst. The look-like Indian server spoke a language we couldn't follow. There was no hospitality and the attitude we received from this restaurant was truly unacceptable. Surely, she just want tips as quickly as possible instead of providing a service !

Restaurantji Recommends
I was brought here for the first time while visiting Thunder Bay and it was fantastic! I was told this is was the go to place for sushi and they did not disappoint! We were placed in a private booth, the staff were very friendly and attentive the various sushi and appetizers we had were super delicious! The sake was nice as well! I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Thunder Bay! I highly recommend the flaming eye roll, it has a nice and spicy kick to it!

Loved the sushis. Bento is huge! Miso soup was great. Had a good meal in that somewhat busy Japanese restaurant!

Food was decent. Service was not too welcoming, feels like they are rushing to make you leave as soon as possible which is opposite to what you expect from Asian restaurant

Absolutely upsetting…My mom recommended this restaurant as she goes all the time. She wanted to take all six of us.
As the waiter approached us I mentioned my 5yr old dose not eat fish and is a picky eater, he was very aggressive and reply no we don’t do that you have to pay for him. We live in Toronto we would have never been told that I have to pay for my child to sit there. The owner must really be hurting to be doing this to people, as he mentioned I’m not the first person to had asked to do this. Btw if you have kids under 6yrs old they are not going to get $45 of food in them. You should offer a kids menu. You should cater to children as well.
I have a big family that reside in Thunder Bay and they will not be returning to your restaurant!
Sham on you….
