Great find!!!! A step back in time. Old hotel bar with a BBQ Pit out the back. Food is amazing, cost is fair and service by both bar & BBQ chef extraordinaire was spot-on. Tip: order the Philly Cheese Steak. Yum
Was in Thunder Bay for the wkend and was looking for a dive bar or a bar off the beaten path and Wayland Bar did not disappoint. The beer was cold, Ashley the bartender was awesome, and there was a local band for entertainment, Blood Red Moon and btw, they were AWESOME! Good mix of patrons in the bar and my only complaint is that I went here in search of satisfying my hunger and unfortunately the kitchen was closed for renovations. Still stayed even though there was no restaurant...
We had my dad's celebration of life here and I want to sincerely thank all the wonderful staff. They were so nice and accommodating helping us organize things, the staff the day of were great and very helpful, we really had a nice time and are very grateful for all they did for us. Thank you so much!
