Definitely a good substitute since that ol' Colonel has lost his touch. The crispy breaded skin is good, but a touch greasy compared to what I prefer....but it's fried chicken..what do I expect. The service is as good as to be expected for an in the grocery store joint.
I went tonight because my son loves it. I had to get him 3 tiny pieces for $10 that were dried out and hard. Not exactly worth the money.
