I ordered a meatball sub and was told that they didn't have any meatballs ready to eat. I've experienced this before and said I was fine waiting a few minutes while they got some meatballs out of the fridge and heated them up.
The employee said he couldn't do that and to order a different sub. I said that I didn't want a different sub and that I've never had an issue with the employees at this location heating up meatballs before.
He informed me that it would take him an hour to make more meatballs because he'd have to make them from scratch (which is such bull, we all know they come frozen and premade).
I left without buying a sub and will not be back. I'm not going to support a business that hires lazy employees who lie to customers.
The place was small, with no tables or chairs to eat at. The lady who served us was alone, so it took a while for her to get our food done, so much for "fast food" chain, eh?! But she was polite, kind, and generous, so she needed a pay raise, not praise, you hear me Subway???! The food was well prepped, except the manager who dispensed the packaged food were mislabeled so my son was disappointed to have eaten one with so much veggies and black olives 🙂, which was a win for me as a mom who had been wishing for her child to eat more veggies!!! 😀. In total, I would rate the place a 3/5.
