I’ve been twice since under new ownership and the food is hot and delicious, service with a smile and clean atmosphere.. recommend 100%. It’s now my new favourite place to eat.. highly recommend trying it.. literally the only place you can get Chinese buffet now.
Very disappointing! I lived in Timmins in the early 2000’s and frequented this restaurant. Back for a visit and was excited to eat here again. To my dismay, there was very little choice in the buffet and the desserts were pathetic. Food was ok taste wise but not hot. Definitely not worth the $$. Again, very disappointing. Do not recommend, unless you enjoy lukewarm to cold food!!

We lived in Timmins over 20 years ago and frequented this establishment and always enjoyed it. So being back for a visit we decided to check it out again. Was very disappointed ☹ food was good, but barely warm, the buffet had very little in it and the service was terrible. Paid much more for a buffet than it was worth! Do t think we will be back again… ever!
The Golden Dragon Restaurant offers an extensive menu with a weekend buffet option. The service is kind, though not always attentive. Customers have enjoyed the General Tso Chicken, deep-fried wontons, and the all-you-can-eat brunch buffet, which features delicious dishes and courteous staff.
