The rooms are in the process of going through a refresh as it appears the complex has a lengthy history. It is too far from town to walk but is only a 5 to 10 minute drive. Close to the lighthouse--within walking distance. Its location is causing staffing issues and the on-site restaurant is closed due to a lack of staff. It was really clean and the rooms were lovely. We paid a bit more for a room facing the water. Next time if we did that I would not. The docks and boats made this banging sound 24/7 it was very annoying and hard to sleep. We were also on the bottom floor and there was very little sound proofing from the people above us we could hear voices and feet walking. So I would ask for a top floor maybe and one away from the water. Other than that it was nice. worth staying at you just...read full review
Peaceful, clean and comfortable with nice views of the lake. Within walking distance of the lighthouse. I enjoyed staying there. I recommend the second floor rooms so you don't get the movement from upstairs. I would stay there again.
