The food was amazing! We will be going there every time we are up in tobermory!
We enjoyed the Father's Day buffet this morning. There was a wide variety of hot foods, baking, pastries and included tea or coffee. The wait staff (all males today) were excellent...friendly and efficient. The price was good for such great food & atmosphere. We've been before and will return & highly recommend.
We recently stayed in Tobermory for a couple days and this was BY FAR the best meal we had!! Great portions, fair pricing, friendly staff!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Based on the reviews, The Hungry Hiker Tobermory is a welcoming restaurant with fantastic food and coffee. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, with great service and very friendly staff. The food truck serves incredible sandwiches, including the smoked brisket with cheddar on sourdough, the fried chicken sandwich, and a grilled Reuben. The sandwiches are huge, very tasty, and the fries are hot and crispy. It is a nice choice for breakfast, especially in late spring or the end of summer, with a pleasant outdoor seating area. While there is a bit of a wait for the food, it is worth it. Some items in Tobermory are more expensive than the same items at the Ferndale location, and the phone for take-out orders often goes straight to voicemail. Despite this, the food is outstanding and the most friendly cat, Stella, adds to the hospitality.
