I've heard nothing but good things about this cafe on social media, and decided I had to check it out for myself. First of all, the location is amazingly close to UTSG campus. Consequently, it is often very busy during and after school hours. However, the space is large and provides tons of seating options, although I do think students would benefit from an additional table or two to allow writing/drawing, etc.

Onto the food and beverages, we tried three items and all three tasted great! My friend was practically in love with her ube matcha latte, and the brownie did not fall short either! I felt that my iced london fog tasted almost identical to the one I got from Dark Horse Cafe, and I also realized that they sold some of the same pastries!

Overall, I loved spending my weekday morning here before my classes, and I highly recommend this cafe as a study spot for students in Toronto.

complete disappointment. cafe is located literally in the residential building lobby. house rules are stupid, I have never seen such nonsense before. service is bad, lady who was serving us spilled the drink while was brought it to the table. when she cleaned the table from previous guests, tissue dropped on the floor and she just left it there. Hot chocolate was tasteless. Don’t recommend this place, will not come again.

It’s a great spot to hang out with friends or to study, and the lighting is good—not too harsh, but definitely enough to keep you focused!

Decent space for work. Has lots of outlets near the walls. Wifi hard to get connected to, would rather they just have a password.

Decent space to work. Wifi is a little hard to get connected on but is ok once connected. Latte is meh.

After I ordered, one girl behind the counter started talking about if the milk had expired right in front of us customers, sniffing it multiple times, then asking her colleague if she should toss it. She walked around unsure until she finally did toss it. I was worried that she was gonna use it for my drink or something…Man you cannot talk about this stuff in front of customers 😂 that grossed me out fr. No shame…

Had the coffee workshop! Vincent was very informative, and provided a lot of insight into the different factors affecting the coffee flavors during the process. Wonderful time!

Unfortunately super rude staff…no hello, no smile, no acknowledgement for a while when there is multiple people behind the counter until they finally come and seem annoyed to take your order. Had to throw the drink away half full also and I have never done that before…won‘t be back although the location looks cool so I was hopeful.

I like this place a lot. I came in earlier as it’s near the university but unfortunately a far walk from the building I work at. Oh well. I’m glad I came at a good time because the cafe eventually got very busy. Lots of students as you can imagine. I didn’t get any food because there weren’t many vegan options beside a little cookie that didn’t look very appetizing. I did however get a drink, the sparkling strawberry raspberry lemonade which was very good. I originally got a banana latte but it was too bananay for me and the barista (John or Shawn… again my old brain is bad with names) noticed and offered to make something else for me. Appreciated because cafe was busy… the devil is in the details. Overall 9/10.

I was with the matcha making class with Chelsea and she was so informative and answered all of our individual questions. What a thoughtful teacher! I also learned where they source their matcha from. Canadian company lead by 12 amazing ladies! I recommend this class! And the cafe itself is lovely. I had strawberry matcha.
