I really wanted to like the this place but the only good thing was the focaccia and jalapeño olive oil. The mains took forever to arrive but came cold & soggy.

I went to this restaurant with my friends during Summerlicious. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. The appetizer of octopus salad was okay. I expected the main course to be better; however, it was not. It was a grilled chicken thigh which was tasty but that's it. The chicken thigh was put on a plate with one grape tomato cut in half and a pinch of arugula. No dressing. No other items on the plate. It was a let-down. The dessert was tasty but small. It was a sour-cherry cheesecake in a mini mason jar. We had to ask for three baskets of bread to fill up on since the main was essentially just a small portion of protein. I don't know if the meal was sparse since it was Summerlicious or if this is how the meals usually are.

GOAT! Mama Rosa and her team go above and beyond to ensure that you will love your experience there! From the fresh delicious food to the amazing fun atmosphere - going to 7 numbers never disappoints! Cooking with Rosa-a minimum of 10 guests gets you the whole restaurant to yourself- is just a slightly elevated experience! Join her in the kitchen or sit back and watch it all unfold- either way it’s an incredible experience!!

The real authentic Italian cuisine in Toronto!
Let me elaborate.
The cosy atmosphere and lit candles on every table sets the ambiance.
The freshly baked sour dough focaccia bread is not overpowering leaving an opportunity for extra virgin cold pressed olive oil and aged balsamic to shine when you dip your bread in them.
Braised leg of lamb is cooked perfectly and served with pees. A healthy option for the Keto motivated like me.
The linguini pasta and tomato sauce and seafood is made to perfection. If you closed my eyes and told me this is a restaurant in Bari Italy by the seaside I would have fully believed it.
The flourless chocolate cake was a fairly guilt free dessert to finish the night.
Mama Rosa is like your mother and grandmother all in one.
Love this place and can't recommend it enough.
A hidden gem in Toronto's Forest Hill area.

10/10 customer service!
Had the burrata cheese and prosciutto for appetizers. Lamb shank for main course. All delicious. I look forward to coming back to try more items on the menu!

As a returning customer, I was disappointed by my recent experience at 7 numbers. To start, the lighting was very dark and the music was too loud. There were menu items written on the chalkboard which were not actually available. The focaccia was soggy and dense. I ordered the lasagna. The layer of cheese on top was hard, as if it were leftover lasagna kept in the fridge for a few days, and the noodles were extremely overcooked.

If I could leave 0 stars,I would. There for a 20+ person bday dinner. Offered a $49 prix fixe menu, maybe you should write the supplementary charges on the menu, instead of coming back to a guest and telling them about it after they have ordered.
Calamari undercooked, oily and salty. Not enough to feed the table. A constant occurrence. Unseasoned Caprese salad, 3 medium sized plates to feed 20+ people??!! Lasagna as a pasta course served whole. I guess I will cut it so we can all share? All the food SALTY!! My Zuppa di Pesce, over cooked fish, cold mussels, where's the broth? It must have been that salty oil spill sitting on the bottom of my bowl. If you can't handle a reservation this large, then just don't take it.

What a gem of a spot. Stumbled upon 7 Numbers while out walking with a friend who just moved nearby. From the moment we stepped in, we felt right at home.
We ordered sardines, antipasti misti, spaghettini di mare, and linguini con rapini, everything was delicious and portions were generous. Rosa came by to greet us, which added such a personal touch.
We took the remaining pasta to go… only to forget it! When we got home and realized, we walker back to see if it had been kept, and sure enough, they had it waiting for us. We all had a good laugh over it.
10/10. A neighbourhood spot I’ll be recommending. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop in.
Love it here. Been coming here forever. Had Josh as our waiter this time and he was amazing. Awesome food awesome service.

Stopped in for a quick walk by bite, very very cute ambiance and the female owner is very cute. Nice local spot
The veal al limone was so good, I have been craving it ever since. I am eager to go back as soon as possible for the excellent service, charming atmosphere, and for that incredible dish.
I love this place. The best neighborhood restaurant we could hope for. Wonderful people. Great atmosphere. Great, honest food. I’ve been 5+ times and I’ll be back many more. Sexy Duck and stuffed chicken this last time. 10/10.
TLDR: 10/10 will be back and will be telling all my friends and family they must eat here!!
Absolutely fantastic food- we had the specials last night and I completely gobbled it up. Everything from our appetisers (calamari / mushroom salad starter), the BREAD and spicy olive oil (I would buy the olive oil dip in a heartbeat!) to our mains was absolutely fantastic. I haven’t felt so much joy going out to eat in such a long time in Toronto. Everything was FRESH!
Our server was absolutely fantastic, she was so sweet and so knowledgeable about the menu. Also she let us know about the cooking classes that we’ll def try out in the summer.
The atmosphere was SO cozy , I forgot I was in midtown. Simple but with so much character!
And the best way to end our night was to actually meet Rosa (owner) Who was so friendly and fabulous- you can tell that she puts so much love to in her restaurant, her food and her staff!
We will be back ♥️
A truly great dinner
