Before I forget, I wanted to take this time to give a huge shout-out to this restaurant. There are many Italian restaurants in Toronto, but some places are special for reasons you can’t quite put into words. 7 Numbers Eglinton has those special reasons.

I ordered a party tray of lasagna that had everyone talking — truly one of the highlights of the night. The flavours, the freshness, the richness… absolutely perfect.

I’ve been going here for 20 years and can say from firsthand experience a big part of that longevity is how remarkably consistent they are. You know when you see a character like Mama Rosa hanging over the kitchen staff’s shoulder and laying in to them if they make a mistake that even if everything isn’t right in the world, it will be at your table for the next few hours.
