Food took forever and arrived cold. Food bag was placed atop leaky drink cups which made our food soggy. No care or thought for delivery seems to have been applied.
Fortunately, the delivery partner refunded most of my order.

They have officially made one small burger for over $10 after taxes. Thank you Ontario for raising the minimum wage! I don’t blame the workers but the corporation. As they raise prices on the menus to account for increase of minimum wage. The consumers are left footing the bill. Not the the government nor the billion dollar organization. Here we go inflation! As if it’s not bad enough already that a small sandwich from a cheap fast food restaurant is more than $10 and is smaller than the size of my palm

They’re pretty good here. They’re really slow and tend to eat or ignore any special orders so it’s best to stick to what’s on the menu and minimize interactions with the staff. (ie they’ll charge you for an extra hash brown and eat it in front of you while they make the rest of your order)
Seems like they don’t allow delivery drivers to hang out inside. In general this is good but it also means you’re likely to be run over by a scooter or yelled at while attempting to use the front door.

Most importantly, there was a gentleman here in a wheelchair and there are no accessibility buttons for the doors and he was struggling to get out. I’m hoping management sees this and does something about it. Otherwise, uncle burger was not the thick patty but still delish.

I as a customer left A&W feeling heartbroken and angry. On a cold day, I watched the owner Indian force a homeless person to leave the restaurant simply because they weren’t buying anything and were just trying to stay warm.
It was freezing outside, and instead of showing even a little kindness or understanding, the owner treated that person like they didn’t deserve basic humanity. It was honestly painful to see. No one should be pushed out into the cold like that especially from a place that’s supposed to serve the community.
I won’t be coming back to this A&W until I see that they take responsibility for how people are treated here. A bit of compassion goes a long way, and what I witnessed was the opposite.
