I was very upset and grossed out by my experience today. I ordered a teen burger and I watched the cook appear from a back room and begin making my food without washing his hands, wearing gloves or using tongs. The kitchen is open concept so I saw him grab all my toppings with his bare hands and sloppily assemble my burger. I very politely asked if the cooks wear gloves and was told that they do not… seems a little strange that in this post pandemic age a cook would not use gloves or even tongs when handling food. I immediately threw the burger out because I was too disgusted to bring myself to eat food that had someone’s dirty fingers all over every topping.

1. This location should post a visible sign at their entrance door and somewhere facing customers at the register where they place their order that "Dine-in is close at (time) for cleaning" and also post it on the website.
2. Persons that don't buy something, should be asked to buy something and if they don't then they should be informed that they will have to leave.
3. The washroom should be available to customer. (Suggestion: put in a buzzer system where A&W employee will provide access to washroom by request at the counter via a button).
Went around 11.40pm after going out, wanted a burger and fries, after ordering asked if I can use the washroom, they said it is closed and that can’t use it. I told them so if I needed to use the washroom after I ate I’m unable to?! They said that it was only for takeout this location, but their dining room was open! Absolutely unacceptable, don’t go here folk if you want a late night meal, especially if you need to wash your hands before your meal or take piss, can’t use the washroom. Not workers fault, managers asinine decision. I could understand, they don’t want undesirables, but for paying customers?! Won’t eat here ever again…I wouldn’t even give this place a star, but had too. I asked for a refund, fortunately they gave it to me…
I Odered the buy one get one free combo and only got one. I called location right away to let them know and the CR who said his name was Shawn/Shawm… trying to give two different spellings and pronunciation said that I needed to contact the delivery person. End of story the store refused to accept that the mistake was on their end… so disgusting that they refused to take my call again but answered when my friend called. This specific group of people think they can do what they want because they have numbers but can’t speak proper English 😐
