friendly staff, but restaurant doesn't feel particularly clean to eat in. it's clean in fast food restaurant standards, but compared to other a&w chains, it's downright disgusting .. ya know?

As a customer I am disappointed to see the guys that work at night handle my food with bare hands after touching money. They also said washroom is out of order. The two employees and manager argued for more than 15 minutes and threatened to call the cops. why? I understand that they don't like cleaning the washroom but to take the effort and call the cops because someone asked for a basic human right is way beyond me. I am never coming to this location.
Went in to get a poutine. Cashier told me to wait 3 minutes. After sitting down to wait (right by the register), 3 more people came and went with their order (they all had more items as well). After about 10 more minutes of waiting I got up and asked about my order where the cashier suddenly told someone in the back to make it. Horrible service and the poutine was one of the worst poutines I ever had at an A & W (gravy was luke-warm). Not coming back to this one.

I ordered uncle burger with Onion ring with Diet Coke. Uncle burger was cold not fresh and onion rings was fresh . Table and restaurant was dirty , employee behind the restaurant on the phone all the time. Too slow on delivery.

The PRET food kiosk is a great addition to the usual burgers and fries, with fresh and tasty sandwiches and soups. Hope they continue to expand it. They also have the best fast food poutine. Along with their 24 hour service, over the last few years A&W has really grown into the best fast food chain in Toronto.
