We stumbled upon this dive bar after it was recommended in our Lonely Planet pocket guide, and it didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent from the start, and although it wasn’t busy when we arrived, the place quickly filled up. The music was fantastic all night, and the vibe was perfect.

They don’t serve food, but they allow you to bring in takeaway, so we nipped out to grab something and enjoyed our meal right at the bar.

Popped into Triple A with our very elderly pup this weekend and had a fantastic time! She was treated like royalty and could get very used to it. Great selection of beers and cider on draft and a lovely mix of humans and dogs. Looking forward to coming back!

the service here is phenomenal! came in through the week after a tough few days and johnny was the highlight of my week. he made sure my friend and i were comfortable when i mentioned some people at the bar were making us uncomfortable, really got to know us and gave great advice. i’ll 100% be back and i hope i get to see johnny again!
