We had a late lunch at Aafrien Indian Restaurant , yonge and eglinton over a weekend and it was a good experience. Service was superfast however could have been coz we were the only family dining. Will certainly need to visit busier hours for a more accurate reading. Food was fresh , tasty and just to specs we requested for which is a rariety in Indian restaurants we have dined before. Restaurant has desi fusion vibes to it and was quiet but then again could be due to the timing of visit.
I never understood food pricing at restaurants and this is mo different . 23$ for a entree’ curry just doesnt make sense to me.
Food prices here are on the expensive side and the portions are average given the price. Not a good value.
We plan to visit another time but may be not too soon

The food was good but when we ordered chicken tikka masala we were surprised to see we had only got 4 pieces of meat, for 23 CAD! This is an excessive price! A package of chicken breast costs less than 10 CAD at the supermarket!
We complained about this and in compensation we got a not so good dessert!
Definitely not coming back to this PLACE! THEY OVERCHARGE FOR THE FOOD!
