Abbot Pub on Yonge St. offers top-quality pub food with creative dishes like smoked salmon appetizer and customizable burgers. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. This is a nice "gastro" pub with a good selection of local beers on tap. The food is good, basic, and nothing fancy, exactly what you're going to expect. The veggie burger is one of the best, and the veggie chili was also excellent. The chips were delicious. It's a nice little place in the heart of North York, a great place where everybody knows your name. It's a must-visit spot for delicious meals in a lively atmosphere.
